You Don’t Call Someone a Nazi For Free

When a gunman shot up a Republican baseball practice in 2017 and nearly killed Steve Scalise, Republicans didn’t go on TV blaming Democrats for it. They didn’t try to tie every heated comment to the guy who pulled the trigger. Instead, they condemned it and kept the focus where it belonged. But maybe they should have taken a closer look at Democrats back then.

If You Can’t Argue Policy, You Attack the Person

Because now, look at how Donald J. Trump, a sitting President, gets talked about now. And it’s not just this latest administration. You know it started way before then.

Instead of having a legitimate argument against Trump and his policies, because they don’t have one, his political opponents have to resort to outright character assassination.

  • Call Trump a racist.
  • Call Trump a Nazi.
  • Call Trump a rapist.
  • Call Trump a pedophile.
  • Call Trump a danger to the country.
  • Call Trump a fascist.

Trump has been compared to Hitler and we all just shake our heads. Other words used to describe Trump are criminal, corrupt, traitor. And let us not forget white supremacist.

The Democrats push that type of language because they can’t talk about anything good that they want to do for the country.

Turning It Into Normal

Here is the part that doesn’t sit right. If they really believed he was the kind of threat they keep describing, they wouldn’t treat it like background noise. And they would not attempt jokes about it. If Trump were a true threat, the Democrats wouldn’t build messaging around it and repeat it casually across social media platforms.

However, the goal for Democrats is obvious. They are trying to fire up their base with this kind of language, and some people will inevitably act on it. And they did.

But first, I want to say this. I recently wrote about Hasan Piker and his reckless way of talking about violence, and I stand by that. He plays games with language and knows exactly what he is doing. Here is the uncomfortable part. It looks like I may have been aiming too low.

It’s Not Just The Fringe, It’s Also Mainstream

The Washington Free Beacon put together a detailed breakdown of Cole Tomas Allen’s online presence, what he was thinking, and how he may have been influenced by the kind of rhetoric coming from journalists and politicians.

On April 22, Allen promoted a post on his Bluesky account (@coldforce) criticizing Piker’s defense of petty crime. “I’ve spent a lot of time in countries where graft and grifting are the norm and I assure you it is worth a truly immense cost to prevent that from taking hold in our society,” wrote Bluesky user @machete.gay. “You do not want to live in that kind of society.” The same user went on to describe Piker as a “fucking idiot.”

Allen seems to have agreed with that assessment. On April 11, he promoted a Bluesky post from Sam Deutsch, the Jeopardy! National College Championship champion turned liberal policy wonk, who wrote, “I do not listen to any streamers because streamers are dumb.” – Free Beacon

That’s interesting, isn’t it? The accounts on Bluesky that Cole Tomas Allen promoted thought Hasan Piker was dumb and a fucking idiot. Hasan Piker had said that social murder was understandable. Yes, most people would think Piker is a dumb fucking idiot.

Yet Cole Tomas Allen showed up armed with a 12-gauge pump-action shotgun, a .38-caliber pistol, and multiple knives and daggers, then rushed the lobby of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner with the apparent intent to take out as many cabinet members as possible.

The Democrat followers are not only being influenced by ridiculous people like Piker, but also by media figures, including politicians. The ones who show up daily and occasionally present themselves as the reasonable ones. Except when they use words like Nazi, racist, white supremacist, rapist, and pedophile to describe Donald Trump. And lately, that’s been all the time.

These Are Not Political Disagreements

When someone sits in that long enough, surrounded by it, reinforcing it, it starts to shape how they see the world.

A review of Allen’s archived posts on Bluesky—his account is currently suspended, for obvious reasons—suggests that the alleged gunman was primarily drawn to mainstream “resistance” figures. Allen’s favorite accounts included Democratic activist Will Stancil, Princeton history professor Kevin Kruse, Democratic propagandist Aaron Rupar, New York Times columnist Jamelle Bouie, and Sarah Jeong, the former Times editorial board member who kept her job in 2018 after social media users discovered her racist tweets from years past.

On the X platform, Allen promoted several posts in 2024 from then-Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin comparing Trump to Adolf Hitler.

In the manifesto he wrote before the attempted shooting, Allen said he was “no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes”—language that would not be out of place on CNN or MS NOW, at a “No Kings” protest, or on a mainstream Democrat’s social media feed. Hollywood actor and Democratic activist Mark Ruffalo called Trump a “pedophile,” a “convicted rapist,” and “the worst human being” on the Golden Globes red carpet earlier this year. Jasmine Crockett, the Democratic congresswoman and former candidate for U.S. Senate, said during a November 2025 appearance on CNN that Trump “may be a pedophile.” In June 2025, the official Democratic Party X account described Republicans as the “Pedophile Protection Party.” Bouie, the Times columnist, has also insinuated that Trump is a pedophile who participated in Jeffrey Epstein’s “massive child sex trafficking ring.”

Free Beacon

You get the picture.

But five plus years of the Democrats’ bitterness and rage was bound to lead to something.

Donald Is Not Their Only Target

And unfortunately, it also targeted Trump’s allies. Charlie Kirk was assassinated right before our eyes. I think we moved on too quickly from that.

Steve Scalise was nearly killed on a baseball field. Rand Paul was attacked in his own yard. Lee Zeldin was rushed on stage. And now we’re watching it escalate even further.

Christopher Ostroushko, 51, Deyanna Ostroushko, 46, and daughter Paige Ostroushko, 20, were indicted for the assault of TPUSA reporter Savanah Hernandez outside the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building in Fort Snelling, the US Department of Justice announced Wednesday. – New York Post

The Democrats keep turning up the volume. It doesn’t just sit there. It energizes their base and pushes some people past the point of reason.

Rene Goode thought she was stepping into the moment, out in the street, using her car as a threat, a weapon. Groomed and brain-washed by Democrats into thinking she was part of something bigger. Their little warrior.

And then there’s Alex Pretti, fully convinced ICE agents were the Gestapo. That’s what happens when people hear the same language over and over until it stop sounding extreme and starts sounding true.

This isn’t about free speech. No one is asking for censorship. Say whatever you want.

But if you’re going to throw around words like Nazi, threat, danger to the country, then back it up. Show the evidence. Argue the policy. Make your case. But you can’t. So just shut up.

All you’re left with is language you don’t even believe, repeated until someone else does.

The Dems/Libs/Progs/MSM WANT a civil war. I don’t think they have thought much about how it may turn out.
