Spencer Pratt is quite done with Karen Bass. After losing everything in last year’s Palisades Fire, Pratt has been a man on a mission to not only get the area rebuilt, his own home rebuilt (if the city will quit slow-walking permits and adding on asinine regulations), and to hold Karen Bass accountable.
He spoke eloquently last November about the devastation everyone in the Palisades and Easton communities has been dealing with.
You need to stop what you're doing and take a few minutes to watch @spencerpratt's devastating speech from the Palisades Fire field hearing today. God bless @SenRickScott and @SenRonJohnson for elevating the Palisades. https://t.co/fQNpgszlCK pic.twitter.com/Tokg15A5lA

All while the politicians from the national to local level who are SUPPOSED to serve them, have been AWOL. Which led to his decision to run for Mayor of Los Angeles. And he is wasting ZERO time bringing attention to all the very real issues that Karen Bass has been ignoring this entire time. The ads he’s been running have gotten major attention across the board.
Jeanie Buss — the former Los Angeles Lakers owner who sold a majority stake in the team for a record $10 billion last June — has donated the maximum amount — $1,800 — to Spencer Pratt.
The donation was uncovered by X user @UnrigLA, revealing part of a Contribution Report from Pratt’s campaign that showed Buss’ contribution highlighted.
His newest political ad epically exposes the Karen Bass’ hypocrisy.
Buss has not said anything publicly about the donation on her Instagram, where she has over 337K followers.
The news comes just days after it was reported that the former reality star from The Hills and crystal shop proprietor is making huge strides with fundraising.
A report from last week revealed that he had even out-raised current LA mayor Karen Bass, pulling in nearly $540,000 since January.
That sum barely put him ahead of another rival, Nithya Raman, who raised $530,000 in the first three months of 2026, and Bass, whose fundraising efforts totaled $495,000.
That donation, along with the fact that Spencer looks to be gaining in the polls, should be causing Karen Bass major heartburn.
Spencer Pratt wants to fix LA. Yes, that includes rebuilding what burned down in January 2025. But it also includes ensuring a reservoir will never be drained again, more and better policing, less taxes, adhere to a budget, homeless, and so much more. He’s by no means a one-trick pony as the Democrat media complex is describing him.
Yes, they are running with the … he’s a reality star who registered as a Republican. Oh. The. Horror.
This is funny. But Spencer Pratt's run for mayor is no joke. He's a MAGA Republican who has vowed to work with ICE & end LA's sanctuary city ordinance.

He is a threat to Los Angeles and the immigrants who built their lives here. https://t.co/UBs1vTpVgI
She lives in a $3 million mansion, her husband is a TV producer, and Nithya’s policies evidently have included killing dogs in homeless encampments around LA. She seems ever so nice.
Spencer Pratt wants to fix what Karen Bass broke. He’s doing it for the community as a whole, but he’s also doing it for his wife, Heidi and their children.
The reality TV stars lost everything in the 2025 Palisades fire. They are now in the midst of a lawsuit against Los Angeles and its Department of Water and Power, alleging that the city’s water supply system failed.
The mom of two shared with Lautner, “I cried on the way over here thinking about, I know I get so sad about it, just thinking about you work so hard right for everything in your home and you love everything in your home and it’s so curated and your childhood things and just your children’s things and they’re little clay pots they bring home and just stuff you can’t get back. Things you can’t buy back. So it’s challenging.”
Montag tearfully added, “ I’m focused on my three-year-old saying he’s going to push our house back up. He still says that like every day…And so everything is about like houses burning down. He’s three, he thinks it’s somehow his responsibility to push our house back up and that he’s strong enough.”
Think about that. Their three-year-old is one of the many children who are navigating the loss of everything to a fire and can’t understand why grown ups are making is so difficult to just ‘push the house back up.’ I just cannot imagine.
And yes, the water system DID fail partly due to a bone-dry reservoir up in the hills.
So, this ad is a devastating indictment of Karen Bass and highlights her vast hypocrisy.

Watch that again. In one 30 second ad, Spencer Pratt bluntly shows the political Us vs Them divide that Democrats love to create.
A recent UCLA Luskin poll “shows 40% of voters remain undecided ahead of the June 2 primary, with Bass leading at 25%, followed by Pratt at 11% and Raman at 9%,” according to Fox11 in Los Angeles. Pratt and Raman are also leading Bass in the latest round of fundraising, although Bass still has much more cash on hand to spend. If Bass, or any other candidate, cannot win a majority on June 2nd, the top two candidates will go to a November run-off.
Keith Edwards, the progressive YouTuber and former Democratic operative, shared Pratt’s ad and added, “Good ad. Democrats should take this seriously.”
And there’s not one single response that Karen can make to this ad. Why? Because then she’d have to explain why she’s failed the city she was elected to run. And Democrats don’t like to explain… ANYTHING.
One of the greatest political ads I've seen in a very long time.

Down to earth. Clear willingness to work hard.
Dichotomy between "them" and "us" is amazing…
…those who POSTURE, vs those who have to live with the consequences of their posturing
10/10 no notes.
Here’s another thing regarding Pratt’s campaign. He isn’t waiting for Election Day to come up with ideas and solutions for LA.
Spencer Pratt has created a phone app that will be used for accountability of public officials if he’s elected Mayor of Los Angeles

Here’s how it works
– Residents will be able to report things like piles of trash
– They can upload a video, the location is geotagged
– An email… pic.twitter.com/siEcWpxNQh
GENIUS.
Spencer Pratt is a man on a mission, and by doing so is exposing how hypocritical Karen Bass is. I sincerely hope LA voters start paying attention and fast.

Let’s be honest about the reality of the Palisades fire and the aftermath. The state government was directly responsible for the fires, deliberately causing the fires and refusing to fight them effectively. Drained reservoirs, empty for years, no fuel mitigation efforts, and a deliberate ignorance about the risks of their actions. Incompetence doesn’t adequately explain what happened and what was done.
The ultimate goal of the state after letting the fires wipeout thousands of homes and businesses. The goal is to screw these victims out of every dime that they can. They are doing everything they can to deflect, delay, deny, and impede every effort these victims make to rebuild. The state is working overtime to ensure that these properties end up in the “right” hands. This was all a concerted state effort to drive these folks off of their property and out of the way. The state, gruesome, basshat, etc. are flat out evil. They should all be struck dead by a bolt from the blue and forever vilified. Hating them isn’t nearly enough.
