Greatest Hits: Liberal Reactions To Senate GOP Healthcare Bill [VIDEO]

The Senate unveiled their Healthcare bill yesterday, called the Better Care Reconciliation Act.

The reactions were something to behold. One would think the sky had fallen, the oceans had receded, and glaciers had disappeared. That’s seriously how over the top the reaction from the Liberal side of the aisle has been.

But first, a couple of things to keep in mind.

A. This is DRAFT legislation. It’s by no means complete and it is quite a ways away from being in its final form.
B. There are only 142 pages (which you can read here) to review on this, which is a terrific change when you consider the Obamacare legislation was 2,300 pages!
C. It doesn’t repeal and I’m not even sure it replaces what it should. But we have time to review and make our concerns very well known.
D. There are sincere objections coming from key members of the GOP and I think we should treat Senators Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Mike Lee, and Ron Johnson’s concerns as valid.

Currently, for a variety of reasons, we are not ready to vote for this bill, but we are open to negotiation and obtaining more information before it is brought to the floor. There are provisions in this draft that represent an improvement to our current health care system, but it does not appear this draft as written will accomplish the most important promise that we made to Americans: to repeal Obamacare and lower their health care costs.

With that said, here are your Liberal Reaction Greatest Hits in no particular order.

Thanks to good ole Chuck Schumer, we now know the bill is super duper MEAN!

Cecile Richards tried to drum up sympathy for Planned Parenthood and stepped on a significant number of rakes while doing so.

If Cecile and the evil that is Planned Parenthood needs money that badly, maybe they shouldn’t have spent nearly $800,000 of taxpayer money to fund Jon Ossoff in his failed campaign. Just sayin’

Nancy Pelosi has designated herself as a ‘Master Legislator’

So much so that her staff sent these helpful hints to all their media pals.

I cannot decide whether that is just sad, funny, pathetic ..or all three.

Next up! Our friend, our pal…Jonathan Gruber!

Ummm, about that…remember when he called Americans stupid for wanting transparency on Obamacare?

Hollywood weighed in.

A VERY rich WHITE woman offered that pithy opinion. Moving on…It seems that the elderly will be forced to live on the streets, genocide will happen because nursing homes will disappear, the housing market will crash, and babies will die. Yessiree, you can find all of those “facts” right here folks.

Elizabeth Warren must’ve been thought those idiots on Twitter were on to something.

Blood money?? WOW. I could go on, but I know we’ll see more craziness as the days go by. So with that, I’ll leave you with one more reaction. That of a former president who just HAD to stick his nose back under the tent.

Thanks Chris, you just had to do it didn’t you? So, what did good ole Barry have to say?

  • It’s not a healthcare bill. It’s a transfer of wealth from the poor and middle class to the rich.
  • The rich get tax cuts and the rest get nothing.
  • We can expect higher premiums and higher deductibles.
  • Tax credits? Never mind.
  • Pregnancy covered? Nope.
  • Mental health covered? Nope.
  • Discrimination b/c pre-existing conditions will be rampant throughout the healthcare system
  • This bill ensures that we should never start a family, get sick, or get old because this bill will kill us.

Yes, he really really said all of that and more.

Did Barry think about this?

Yeah. No. Here’s the thing. Does Obamacare in its current incarnation need to be changed? ABSOLUTELY. Especially when we find out that Aetna will be leaving 20 states in the very near future.

Does this new DRAFT bill do enough? From what I’m seeing, I don’t think so. What I do know is this, we will need plenty of popcorn and tinfoil as we watch the Liberal meltdowns over this commence.

Well, it SHOULD be about 141 pages shorter than that. It only needs a paragraph to say “this repeals the AHCAA, and any subsequent legislation and regulations dependent on the AHCAA.” Dang, look, I did it in just one sentence.

The ONLY reason they won’t do that is because they are neither principled, nor are they conservatives. It’s the ONLY right way to do it (unless the other 141 pages list all the other healthcare crap it also repeals, returning us to an actual market for healthcare).

It’s a massive transfer of wealth.

    As if 0bamaCare wasn’t.
