After a quick visit to Poland where President Trump made an impressive speech, he flew to Hamburg, Germany for the start of the G20 Summit. Soon after landing, he and Chancellor Merkel met and shook hands.

Needless to say, the protests are already violent, and it’s a clash with law enforcement and the military striving to keep the peace while the anarchists, fascists, terrorists, and hoodlums strive to do as much damage as possible. Throw a few idiot celebrities into the mix, along with optically dense politicians, and you have the full makings of a riot out of control. Particularly one supremely dense politician named Bill De Blasio.

Mayor De Blasio’s priorities are totally out of whack. 

Mayor de Blasio on Thursday skipped an NYPD swearing-in ceremony made somber by this week’s assassination of a cop — then hours later revealed he was busy preparing to jet off on a surprise trip to join leftist protesters at the G-20 summit in Germany.

Hizzoner’s overseas jaunt was kept under wraps until just 90 minutes before he took off from Newark Airport. A last-minute announcement said he “will attend several events surrounding the G-20 Summit, including Saturday’s Hamburg Zeigt Haltung rally.”

In fact, he will be a keynote speaker at one of the major protests on Saturday! 

I wonder, do you think he’ll have something to say about the violent protests that have covered Hamburg in the last couple of days?

Screaming at the police? Check.

Setting things on fire? Check.

Bottles, fists, and other debris thrown? Check.

Here’s the thing. What will New York Mayor Bill De Blasio accomplish while there? Is he planning to speak out against the violence and violent rhetoric towards cops? Yeah. I doubt it.

Is he planning to speak about government or UN intrusion into state and local matters? Probably not.

Does he plan to speak about ways to cut taxes, trim the budget, and fix a failing subway system? Hah! Don’t make me laugh.

Instead, protesting is his game over serving his city. Priorities man!

Presumptive Republican challenger Nicole Malliotakis accused de Blasio of abandoning pressing issues in the Big Apple to pursue his progressive agenda in Europe.

“Unbelievable. Instead of jet-setting around the world, he should be here doing his job,” said the Staten Island assemblywoman. “A police officer was murdered, street homelessness has skyrocketed and people continue to get delayed on the trains.”

The tweet she sent made her feelings clear.

Like I said… Priorities Dude!!

The head of the NYPD Sergeants Union wasn’t pleased, either.

“As the city mourns, its leader flees,” Ed Mullins said. “And then he wonders why he has a problem with the police. A real leader stays with the city in this time of hardship.”

Yeah, the optics are REALLY bad on this one. Especially once everyone found out that he’d had this planned for quite some time, but the information regarding his trip and keynote speeches at the protests was only released 90 minutes prior to his jetting off to Germany!

Bill De Blasio is pathetic. Racing to Germany to protest G20, when one of your officers was murdered.

Way to back the blue.

Keep in mind, ladies and gentlemen…he/his office tweeted that while he was in the air on the way to Germany. Optics are stellar with this guy!

Sharing our values and aggressively representing New Yorkers at home and abroad helps keep our city’s needs and strengths at the forefront of an important discussion.”

I may not live in New York City. But I’d be willing to bet that a vast majority of those who live there would MUCH rather have a Mayor that would stick much closer to home in order to deal with the issues of the homeless, the crime, the war on cops, the subways imploding, and more. Grandstanding in Germany will NYC falls apart within doesn’t solve anything and only serves to make Bill De Blasio look like the fool he is.
