Among the more ridiculous statements made by the grating Jessica Tarlov on The Five on August 18 was that no one would have known about the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago if Donald Trump hadn’t announced it. After I cleaned up the Diet Pepsi I spit across the room, I wondered if she really is that stupid. My answer is yes. She is that stupid. I am sure she was a straight A student parrotting back whatever the teachers wanted. Never doing a deep dive on what she was taught for proof of its truthfulness. Tarlov also said that President Trump had a different excuse for the raid every day. The Princess of Vocal Fry doesn’t realize most of the “excuses” are coming from the FBI or the Department of Justice.
From Donald Trump stole classified documents (packed the boxes himself) to Trump wanted to sell nuclear secrets he stole, it all came from the D.C. FBI cabal. The very same FBI that swore Donald Trump would never be President because they had a plan and the same people that pushed the Russian Collusion Hoax.
Speaking of the Russian Collusion Hoax, that’s the latest theory that Newsweek is pushing. From the article “FBI Sought Documents Trump Hoarded for Years, Including about Russiagate”:
To justify the unprecedented raid on a former president’s residence and protect the source who revealed the existence of Trump’s private hoard, agents went into Trump’s residence on the pretext that they were seeking all government documents, says one official who has been involved in the investigation. But the true target was this private stash, which Justice Department officials feared Donald Trump might weaponize.
“They collected everything that rightfully belonged to the U.S. government but the true target was these documents that Trump had been collecting since early in his administration,” says the source, who was granted anonymity to discuss sensitive issues.
The sought-after documents deal with a variety of intelligence matters of interest to the former president, the officials suggest—including material that Trump apparently thought would exonerate him of any claims of Russian collusion in 2016 or any other election-related charges.
Sentient beings know the unholy origins of the Russian Collusion Hoax (Hillary). If this story is true (doubtful), the FBI would be less worried about DJT proving his innocence, than DJT published the names of those who colluded with Hillary in the Hoax. Hmmmm?
Next up, the Lincoln Project people stopped watching children at play to try to make Trump paranoid:
The co-founder of the Lincoln Project, Rick Wilson, appeared on MSNBC to discuss the group’s new ad running in the area around Mr Trump’s Bedminster, New Jersey club.
The ad ponders who could’ve flipped on Mr Trump and shared information with federal authorities, prompting the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago.
“We knew that Donald Trump would try to gaslight the entire country and try to psychologically destabilize the minute this raid happened,” Mr Wilson said on MSNBC. “We knew he would immediately start lying and they would immediately try to tell an alternate narrative of why it’s happening and why it’s really happening. And we wanted to immediately push back. And something we’re good at — which is getting inside his decision cycle and getting inside his head space and pushing back in a way that we’ve been very, very successful in the past.”
Host John Heilemann asked Mr Wilson who could’ve flipped.
“I think there were a lot of stories a few weeks ago about Jared and Ivanka trying to back away from Trump and trying to start their own brand, essentially break off from Trump and pulling away from the Trump orbit,” Mr Wilson said. “I think Jared Kushner has a great paranoia for reasons to do with his family’s past. He doesn’t ever want to ever go to jail. I suspect that the FBI and folks have a persuasive argument there that he should talk.”
He added that there are plenty of other possible suspects.
Jared? Melania?
Insiders say Trump is panicking as Kushner and Melania pointed to as possible moles in FBI raid https://t.co/4lNwz0BjSE Looks like the Lincoln Project ad to get in Trump's head has worked! Ha Ha

And, the NY Times, Maggie Haberman thinks the FBI was look for tchotchkes Trump stole from his travels:
Trump ripped up documents, stacked them neatly in the bottom of the toilet bowl and didn’t flush them, right. Maybe it was Kim Jung Un’s love letters to DJT or a note from Shaquille O’Neal about his giant sneakers.
Science has got to find a cure for Trump Derangement Syndrome. These people are ill and have been in pain since 2015. Meanwhile, Donald Trump is trolling Democrat candidates with his epic sense of humor. I am enjoying the heck out of it.

I have yet to see any explanation for why Trump would want to retain classified documents – what would be his motive? All the criminal offenses cited have a mental element, either intent to violate the law or, in the case of gross negligence in handling classified, that the accused at least knew he had had possession of classified information. This is the missing element so far. The lack of a plausible motive weakens the existence of the necessary mental element.
Well said Blue !
I think TFG* (The F#&king Genius) has given you an explanation … well, multiple explanations; none of which make any sense. When it comes to TFG, “common sense” is tossed out the window and you’re asked to believe the nonsensical excuses flowing from his sphincter of a mouth. (Cross Reference: Go to the last 100 word Friday post and you’ll find my post as to why so many people believe TFG.) That tells you all you need to know. Good question … why … we’ll never know because TFG will have to admit to a crime in order for us to find out the truth.
