The world is angered and horrified by the barbarically evil killing of Jordanian pilot, Muath al-Kasasbeh, who was captured by ISIS last year. The video of his horrific death was gleefully posted by ISIS yesterday.
We cannot imagine the evil that drives ISIS. We know we must combat it and eradicate it. We cannot know what this is doing to Muath’s family. His mother, Saafia, is absolutely devastated. For, as long as she knew her son was alive, there was hope. ISIS rent that hope into shreds in the most brutal manner possible. She has been hospitalized as, understandably, her grief is so overwhelming.
Muatha’s father, Safi al-Kasasbeh, is equally devastated. And he is resolute, strong, determined, and angry. He calls upon his faith, calls upon Jordan, and calls upon King Abdullah to avenge his son.
‘I demand the revenge be greater than executing prisoners. I demand the ISIS organisation be annihilated,’ he said.
‘This murderous organisation, made up of militants from all the world countries, is acting in barbaric ways, violating all the international laws, codes of ethics, and prisoners’ conventions.
‘That is why I strongly demand the government to swiftly take revenge for the blood of Moaz and the dignity of our country,’
Safi al-Kasasbeh tells the world,
These are criminals and there is no comparison between them and the blood of Muath.
He is right. ISIS is criminal. They are barbarically evil. There should be absolutely no comparison between ISIS and anyone they have brutally murdered. America and Americans, whether our dithering President likes it or not, MUST stand with Muath’s parents and with Jordan as they avenge Muath al-Kasasbeh and annihilate the evil that is ISIS.
