EVIL: NPR Broadcasts Audio Of Woman Getting An Abortion

Abortion is evil. Period. Yet, NPR evidently wants to normalize it. Hence the Michigan affiliate literally taped audio of a woman getting an abortion.

Kate Wells is super proud of her story. So proud that she not only got audio, but she interviewed multiple women about their reasons for getting an abortion. Which, to her mind doesn’t mean it’s not a simple matter of a “wanted” or “unwanted” pregnancy.  OH REALLY? Let’s look at some quotes from her article shall we?

When Melissa, the patient from Ohio, found out she was pregnant this summer, the single mom of two kids panicked. The timing was terrible: She was in school, working, and going through a divorce. “I slept with somebody one time, and then I got pregnant,” she said.

Jessica, a single mom of a toddler son, made “sacrifices,” she said, sitting in a small counseling room next to the waiting area at Northland. Jessica and her son don’t have stable housing right now, she said. She found out she was pregnant just a few weeks before her son’s second birthday. She knew the abortion would cost hundreds of dollars, and she really wanted to be able to throw her son a party. So she worked overtime and drove for DoorDash whenever she could squeeze it in.

Most of the people who get abortions in Michigan are already parents. Their desire to be “good moms” comes up in nearly every conversation about why they’re getting an abortion. One woman we’re calling M, a married suburban mom with perfect posture and effortless poise, said she “wouldn’t trade my kids for anything. I love them to death.”

M has three kids, and the youngest is about to go to school. After ten years of staying at home, M felt like she was on the cusp of something new. “I want to go back to work and just kind of have something for myself other than just be a mother all day, every day,” she said, tucking a silky strand of hair behind her ear.

“I just feel like that phase of my life is over. And it was an amazing phase. But I don’t want to keep going back,” she said. “I want to go forward.”

I read through all of that and read it again. Two conclusions here.

One: have none of those women ever heard of BIRTH CONTROL??

Two: How incredibly selfish they are. Yes, selfish.

Bullshit. There is nothing merciful about killing a baby.

Try as I might, I cannot bring myself to listen to the audio. Even the description of it is horrifying and enraging.

“Most patients are partially awake during the procedures, they get IV medication for pain and anxiety,” the reporter continued. “The lights are dimmed, there’s soothing music, it actually feels a lot like a childbirth, in a medical gown, your bare legs and stirrups, and a person next to you, saying, ‘You can do this.’”

Staffer Brandee can be heard telling the mother, “Just keep breathing.”

In the background, the listener can hear the vacuum aspirator machine turn on. According to an October story Wells wrote about the incident: “The machine uses gentle suction to remove” the baby “from the patient’s uterus through a thin tube.”

“Blow it out, blow it out, breath through,” Brandee tells the mother.

The listener can hear the mother moaning over and over as the vacuuming noise continues.

The noise stops.

The cheerleading throughout and at the end makes me sick to my stomach. This is pure outright EVIL. NPR is working hard to normalize abortion. So much so that they’ve run multiple stories over these last few months about how organizations are doing their best to HELP women kill their babies, such as devising mobile clinics.

Joffe describes herself as cautiously optimistic that mobile clinics could help close some of the distance for abortion patients in places with new restrictions.

“The reason for my caution, along with the optimism, is because abortion healthcare is like no other branch of healthcare.” Joffe says. “Any move that is made to increase abortion access will be met by those opposed to abortion to try to impede it in various ways.”

Healthcare means making the effort to SAVE a life, not kill one.

Abortion isn’t and never will be healthcare. Period.

That said, as we’ve noted recently, the Democrat party is running as if abortion is THE ONLY ISSUE voters should be concerned about. Oh, and the political violence that Biden blathered about last night. Democrats all across the country have been ranting and raving about abortion, while ignoring the issues of crime, inflation, homelessness, and much more.

In response to massive amounts of criticism over her story, this is how Kate Wells responded.

“I have to disagree that doing a story inside an abortion clinic is somehow ‘pro-abortion.’ Abortion is on the ballot in Nov. I’d argue that getting to see what’s actually happening in clinics right now isn’t biased, it’s factual.”

Oh, it may be factual, but it is also a very biased piece that is attempting to normalize abortion and ‘help’ the Democrats gain more votes.

What NPR did is show how violent and evil abortion actually is. Democrats want that, which is why the vast majority of Dem candidates have been focused on promoting this evil while disregarding everything else.

Good heavens!! And here I thought the left couldn’t go any lower. Boy, I was wrong. I will not be listening to that audio.

  • […] know what’s violent, NPR? Killing an innocent child and playing the audio of this event for all to […]

  • Humility says:

Funny play on words considering she killed one of her children.

Right after I read your article on Hathaway, I saw a story in the Daily Mail about a 10 year-old boy (youngest ever in British history!) receiving the BEM (British Empire Medal) from Sophie, Countess of Wessex. He has cerebral palsy and uses a walker and a special trike for mobility. He had just completed an Iron Man course to raise money for the local children’s hospital and his school. It took him a year to complete. This is not his first effort. Tobias has raised over 150,000 pounds. With tears in my eyes, I kept thinking that he would never have been born, never allowed to live if left to people like the “merciful” Ms. Hathaway.

Not listening to this. Don’t need real horror in my life. And NPR should lose their funding from the feds. Let the states pay for them or they can hold a bake sale.

  • Yeah-Me-Neither says:

I cannot conceive a good motive for NPR playing that. The only possible good motive is that people would perhaps realize the horror of abortion, but that cannot be NPR’s position.

May they rot in the lake of fire and sulfur. Better yet, though, is that they would confess, repent and then spent the rest of their lives donating much of their ill-gotten wealth to pro-life groups, and picketing abortion clinics.
