The Democrats were left floundering in the wake of the Mueller hearings on Wednesday. Yet many are stubbornly clinging to the IMPEACH TRUMP! narrative. Trump did something bad at some point in time, we will find it, and we will impeach! is their battle cry.

“Several centrist Democrats seized on the absence of a major revelation to argue it was time to end House investigations into whether Trump tried to obstruct the former special counsel’s probe and pivot to legislation.

“Anyone who was looking for the smoking gun yesterday didn’t get it,” said Rep. Anthony Brindisi (D-N.Y.), who ousted a Republican incumbent by fewer than 500 votes in last year’s midterm elections. “It’s time to move on and focus on getting some bills passed here that can get signed into law.””

According to Jared Huffman (D-CA), the Democrats ‘aren’t potted plants.’ He’s itching to use subpoenas and do anything and everything he can to shape the public narrative. What narrative you ask? That old tired narrative of Trump Russia Collusion!

Never mind the current evidence, far too many Democrats such as Nadler and Huffman still believe that Trump colluded with Russia and it is only because of that collusion that Trump won the election!

Robert Mueller bluntly stating during his testimony on Wednesday that no collusion was found between Trump and Russia.  Mueller even walked back one of his remarks.

““I want to go back to one thing that was said this morning by [Representative Ted] Lieu who said, and I quote, ‘You didn’t charge the President because of the [Office of Legal Counsel] opinion.’ That is not the correct way to say it,” Mueller said. “As we say in the report, and as I said at the opening, we did not reach a determination as to whether the President committed a crime.””

Is he suggesting Mueller was compromised because he didn’t get the answer he wanted? Everyone on that hill needs a tin foil hat.

Wow. Way to get the conspiracy theories going Ted. Not only that, but you completely imply that Mueller is being controlled by someone else. Shades of Manchurian Candidate! You know what Teddy? Get a freaking grip! You look like a complete and utter fool right now.

There’s someone else who has ended up with massive amounts of egg on his face. I’m speaking of Adam Schiff (D-CA). He has insisted for 2 1/2 years that collusion DID happened and that he KNOWS Trump did it all. Yet when asked to produce evidence?

First of all, Adam completely tap-danced around the answer. Secondly, Schiff absolutely lied about Don Jr’s response, and what the meeting actually was. It’s been campaign practice for decades, no matter the party, to engage in opposition research. Thus if someone shows up saying they have something on the opposition, why not hear them out? ACTING on that information is a completely different ball game. Secondly, it has been proven that the purpose of the Trump Tower meeting was designated as one to discuss Russian adoptions.

The Democrats desperately want Trump to have colluded with Russia for something, even when the evidence points to completely different directions. Did anyone notice how the Democrats worked hard to avoid any mention of the Steele Dossier, Fusion GPS, and Glenn Simpson? The mere mention of Hillary Clinton’s involvement in the above is likely giving them hives.

Democrats are stubbornly pursuing the Trump did something with Russia! narrative, even as Congress is now reporting that Russia had definitively targeted all 50 states during the 2016 election cycle. Did their targeting change any votes? Not that anyone can tell.

However, far too many Democrats want Trump impeached when they should be focusing on the budget, our economy, Iran (which is engaging in hacking our systems as well), our borders and more.

The Democrats wanted Hillary to win. She didn’t. Therefore, for the last 2 1/2 years, they’ve engaged in a campaign of impeachment by any means necessary. They were hoping that the Mueller Report would give them everything they needed to make it so. Unfortunately, in spite of all the Democrat operatives working with Mueller, they came up with a big fat goose egg.

The media, the Democrats, the left, and the investigators are at fault for this. They have launched a full out assault that is telling us that our vote doesn’t matter. They tell us that the only one who wins is the one THEY choose. They tell us that OUR language is wrong. They tell us that, no matter evidence to the contrary, impeachment is still in play.

The Democrats may be floundering, but they still hope and strive for the day that Trump will be impeached.
