Sometimes Democrats, some of them anyway, live in reality. In this case it is Congressman Seth Moulton. He had the audacity to advocate for boys to stay OUT of girls sports.

Via a New York Times article in which Democrats are supposedly grappling with why they lost so badly at the polls and why Kamala completely imploded, we find a lot of finger-pointing and blame. But at least one bit of reality from Bernie Sanders!! 

“It’s not just Kamala,” he said. “It’s a Democratic Party which increasingly has become a party of identity politics, rather than understanding that the vast majority of people in this country are working class. This trend of workers leaving the Democratic Party started with whites, and it has accelerated to Latinos and Blacks.”

No, I didn’t have Bernie on my bingo card of reality, but there he is. And he’s absolutely correct. Kamala’s campaign was driven, in large part, by identity politics. The issues that are directly impacting all Americans regardless of party were ignored and Tuesday showed the consequences of that choice.

And then there’s this from Seth Moulton (D-MA). 

Representative Seth Moulton of Massachusetts, who was one of two dozen Democrats who sought the party’s presidential nomination in 2020, suggested the party should shift its approach to transgender issues.

“Democrats spend way too much time trying not to offend anyone rather than being brutally honest about the challenges many Americans face,” Mr. Moulton said. “I have two little girls, I don’t want them getting run over on a playing field by a male or formerly male athlete, but as a Democrat I’m supposed to be afraid to say that.”

The blowback from his remarks lent a great deal of truth to his remark about being afraid to talk about the reality and dangers of boys invading girls sports. 

A top aide to Democratic Rep. Seth Moulton (Mass.) resigned after comments Moulton made about transgender athletes were panned by state Democrats and LGBTQ groups.

Matt Chilliak, Moulton’s campaign manager and director of his “Serve America” political committee, departed Moulton’s office late Thursday, The Boston Globe reported. A spokesperson for Moulton’s office did not return a request for comment on Chilliak’s departure.

Others around Massachusetts shrilly piled on.

The University of Wyoming Cowgirls Volleyball just forfeited a second game against San Jose State because of the transgender male on that team. Rightfully so, none of the women want to be injured when a volleyball traveling up to 90 mph smashes into their face.

San Jose State’s women’s volleyball team lost 3-1 to San Diego State on Saturday amid an ongoing national controversy surrounding a trans athlete on the team.

Redshirt senior Blaire Fleming led the game in kills with 15, raising an individual season total to 252. It is the second 250+ kill season of Fleming’s career. Fleming previously recorded a staggering 311 kills in a debut season at San Jose State in 2022, after transferring from Coastal Carolina.

Blaire Fleming Is A MALE. San Jose State has penalized the assistant coach for speaking out and has threatened players with losing their scholarships if they continue to protest. Brooke Slusser has a lawsuit pending against the school and NCAA over this. San Jose has chosen to follow the transgender narrative over keeping women’s sports SOLEY for women, and has chosen to put their health and safety at risk by doing so.

It became public several weeks back that Kamala is on record advocating for any illegal immigrant to be provided transgender “care” if they so desire it. Many people continue to insist that that is untrue. It if isn’t true, Kamala had AMPLE opportunity to walk back her stance. She didn’t, which speaks volumes. 

This meltdown on CNN the other day shows how deeply deluded people are over the transgenders in women’s sports issue.

GOP strategist Shermichael Singleton is correct. The focus on this issue while outright ignoring the very real concerns for the girls and women in sports, concerns that include not only their mental health but their PHYSICAL safety has turned voters away from the Democrat party. We saw that play out on Tuesday. Did the focus on coddling transgenders in sports move the needle a lot? No, but it moved the needle enough in certain areas. 

Furthermore, whether people like Jay Michaelson want to accept it or not, medical science is clear. If you are born a boy, all the drugs in the world aren’t going to change that. Not. One. Bit. 

The trans agenda is destructive to the kids who are involved. It’s permanently damaging. And it is causing great harm to women’s sports.

Seth Moulton isn’t backing down. 

“I stand firmly in my belief for the need for competitive women’s sports to put limits on the participation of those with the unfair physical advantages that come with being born male,” he said. “I am also a strong supporter of the civil rights of all Americans, including transgender rights. I will fight, as I always have, for the rights and safety of all citizens. These two ideas are not mutually exclusive, and we can even disagree on them.”

Yet those firmly embedded in the transgender narrative refuse to acknowledge that.
