Columbia professors say the darnedest things. Take Professor Basil Smikle as yet another exhibit of the “intellectual” party in this next instance.

Professor Smikle claims DOGE cuts to bureaucratic spending are…wait for it…racist. Why are they racist, you ask? Because they are making cuts to a government that was once run by a black man (Barack Obama),

There are people who are charged with trying to find savings. So yes, it’s an attack on government, but it’s also an attack on this government.”-Basil Smikle

Deep thoughts, Prof. Carry on:

What I mean by that is it’s an attack on this government that used to be headed by a black man.”-Basil Smikle

When was the government “headed by a black man”? Last decade? There were two white guys in office after the black man but this DOGE takedown is not just because the white “fascists” want to bring the black man down. Smikle muses on:

So, not only is DOGE racist because of Barack Obama, DOGE is racist because Kamala Harris did not get elected to the highest office in the land. I really cannot facepalm hard enough.

That’s the truth. Smikle is a lecturer of international and public affairs at the Columbia and aired his ridiculous comments on MSNBC yesterday.

Is it racist that black people pay taxes for a bloated workforce? Is it racist that black people pay taxes on frivolous programs in foreign countries approved largely by an old, white guy (the same CRT grifters want to scrub from history books) who was in office and his black woman vice president? Unless, of course, the theory remains-it wan’t Biden’s government after all? Perhaps it WAS Barack Obama’s government!

But we also need to back up here a touch. The “government” does not elect anyone to “the highest office in the land”. The American people do. Yep, all of us American dumbasses-the people-who clearly don’t understand racism or belong at Columbiuhhh elected Trump. But we, blinded by racism, cannot see how cutting our deficit and taxes and spending is an “attack on the government” and it’s, SO. RACIST.

Smikle also served as a senior aide to the racist, herself, Hillary Rodham Clinton.

According to this, while on Clinton’s Senate staff, Smikle “provided invaluable counsel on state-wide policy and politics”. His work and collaboration left a substantial impact on the State of New York, with Mrs. Clinton lauding Basil as a “key advisor and tremendous public servant”.

This is the best a guy with a PhD these days can do, apparently. A “tremendous public servant”. Makes me wonder who was/is lining his pockets. But my speculation is just me being “racist”, I guess.

It seems to us the Dems really have nothing left. We’ve gone from white “educators” making millions off of books and seminars victimizing other races, to white liberals rioting in the inner cities and torching neighborhoods in the name of “justice”, to pink hats, pink outfits, name-calling signs at speeches to this circular logic. Where is Kamala when we need her? Can she assist with a Venn diagram here?

The proclaimed “Harlem Elite” (LA Times’ words) and champion of “public service and education equity”, Basil Smikle, cannot see how millions of dollars to fund sex changes, plays, operas and comic books in other nations do not promote the bettering of the very inner-city communities and positive outcomes for American families living in them that he claims to fight for. He, like many other Democrat elites, would much rather them be taxed into oblivion and captive to this grift and victimhood.

Again, this comes as no shock this professor hails from Columbia. According to Smikle’s bio, he’s been a “political analyst” for years. And this is your latest “analysis” on DOGE. Keeping money out of the pockets of Americans of all races is…racist.You know what else is racist? Admissions based on the color of one’s skin. “Affinity” (AKA Segregated) housing. And, let’s not forget months upon months of anti-Semitism chanted on the lawns and in the halls of the great institution of “intellectuals” that make up Columbia.
