Remember when Obama made Kevin Jennings his “safe schools” czar? It caused a lot of controversy. Jennings was the founder and director of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN). And the education he was pushing on children was disturbing, to say the least.
Book after book after book contained stories and anecdotes that weren’t merely X-rated and pornographic, but which featured explicit descriptions of sex acts between pre-schoolers; stories that seemed to promote and recommend child-adult sexual relationships; stories of public masturbation, anal sex in restrooms, affairs between students and teachers, five-year-olds playing sex games, semen flying through the air. One memoir even praised becoming a prostitute as a way to increase one’s self-esteem. Above all, the books seemed to have less to do with promoting tolerance than with an unabashed attempt to indoctrinate students into a hyper-sexualized worldview.
You can see the reading list here. GLSEN conferences also taught 14-year-olds about spitting vs. swallowing, and explained fisting.
We warned then about the type of precedent this set for the future of our education. And while Jennings is no longer part of the Obama administration, the radical pro-homosexual indoctrination continues.
Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender literature are included in the California Department of Education’s newest reading list for students K-12 that includes lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender literature, prompting complaints from critics who say a leftist agenda is being pushed on kids, the San Jose Mercury News reported.
Controversial topics have been introduced to California students in the past, but this is the first time the state has put forth works celebrated by the Stonewall Book Awards, which since 1971 has recognized LGBT literature, according to the newspaper.
They’re going to force tolerance on your children, whether they like it or not. Religious or moral objections? That just makes you a bigot.
The truly scary fact is that California is often the state that dictates national trends in education. Pro-LGBT indoctrination in the name of tolerance is growing, and as Kevin Jennings showed us, that doesn’t mean that kids are being taught not to bully the gay kid in their class.
