The Senate has finally held confirmation votes for two of Trump’s Cabinet picks – James Mattis for Secretary of Defense, and John Kelly for Secretary of Homeland Security.
Both men passed Senate confirmation, and were promptly sworn in.

President Trump’s first official statement was concerning the confirmation of the two retired generals.

And Vice President Pence put them on the job.
Secretary Mattis immediately went to work and issued his very first statement to Department of Defense employees.

I got a big kick out of Barron Trump playing peek-a-boo and teaching high fives to one of Ivanka’s kids last night during one of President Trump’s signings…..President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump….can’t get over saying and typing that…..just like I can’t get enough of saying/typing Former President Obama….ex-President Obama….No-longer-president Obama…..bwahahaha!!!!!
