Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders (I-VT), a socialist, has been nibbling at frontrunner Hillary Clinton’s heels lately, drawing ever-increasing crowds, including one throng of more than 11,000 in Arizona last month.
So on Saturday, Bernie was welcomed with open arms in Seattle, one of the most liberal cities in the nation, right?
Well, no. His speech was shut down by Black Lives Matter protestors. Friends, you can’t make this stuff up.
Sanders was to be the star at a rally touting expansion of Social Security and Medicare. His appearance was preceded by a group of appreciative “Raging Grannies.”

Sanders was praising Seattle for being “one of the most progressive cities in the United States of America” when two women grabbed his microphone.

Sanders, relenting in what he must’ve thought was a “kumbaya” moment, allowed the women to speak. They proceeded to itemize their grievances with the city of Seattle, calling it “racist” along with the people at the Sanders event. This did not sit well with the attendees, who booed the protestors and indignantly shouted, “How dare you!” The protestors then forced the crowd to observe 4 minutes and 30 seconds of silence for the first anniversary of the death of Michael Brown.

Sanders waited out the speech (he is visible in the background), but when he tried to cross the stage, the protestors would have none of it.

When they were finished with their four-minute silence for Michael Brown, one of the protest’s leaders called for Sanders to come to the microphone, but he refused.

Rally organizer Robby Stern called an end to the event. Sanders never got a chance to speak.
Oh, the irony!
I’m old enough to remember when a real leader was blocked from his microphone. And he handled it, well, like a man.
We conservatives may be going through a baptism of fire by the likes of an unfiltered candidate like Donald Trump. But in the midst of the belligerence and bellicosity, we should sit back and enjoy a bit of schadenfreude when the laws of karma bite the backsides of the loony Left in the increasingly leftwing Democrat party.
Appalled By The World says: Great-some good news for a change! Now Bernie can see what his bunch pushes as “progress”-let the Black Lies Matter pets turn on their privileged white masters like rabid dogs. It’s high time The Destroyers start preying upon one another-we can sit back, eat our popcorn and enjoy the spectacle that these crazies,um, Progressives, will put on for our entertainment.
Maybe once they’re done annihilating one another we can finally get on with the business of nation building upon a rock of what used to be common sense at long last by throwing this Obaman People’s Republic abomination we are currently victims of into the garbage where it always belonged.
