Shocking! The Biden administration suddenly knows what a woman is when it comes for signing up for the Selective Service System (which is the database that would be utilized in case of a draft), and if you were born male, then you are signing up.

Now, there are a multitude of issues with Selective Service that have not been addressed because the draft hasn’t been utilized since the Vietnam War. And like all things, if the government is in charge, then the bureaucracy becomes more inefficient and more incompetent the longer the program exists. For example, all three of my sons, when they come of age, must register for Selective Service, even though their disabilities automatically disqualify them for military service. That’s actually addressed on the website:

Disabled men who live at home must register with Selective Service. A friend or relative may help a disabled man fill out the registration form if he can’t do it himself.”

Men with disabilities that would not qualify for military service are still required to register with Selective Service. There is a difference between exemption from registration and classification in the event of a national emergency. Selective Service does not have authority to pre-classify men for service if there is not an active draft. All men, or their parent or legal guardian, are able to submit a claim for exemption from service in the event of a draft.”

Shorter version: we are not exempting anyone because there isn’t an active draft, so all your information is belong to us. The only exemptions at the time of registration include those who are hospitalized or insitutionalized, or who cannot leave their home without medical assistance. Now, obviously, should a draft ever occur, those of us with sons with significant disabilities (and a thick medical file indicating lifelong therapy care; we are not talking about a self-diagnosis here) would get a near-automatic exemption. (Though I do admit a certain hilarity would ensue if my youngest was told to hack a computer – I swear that kid knows more workarounds than I could imagine.) But in the meantime, the government sees no need to change their data collection, so they won’t.

However, the Biden administration really touched off a Twitter firestorm with their latest tweet about registering, and it all relates to transgender issues.

Apparently, the Selective Service is completely staffed by biologists who know what a woman is, and know what a man is. And if you were born a biological male, you will be registering for the draft.

Yes, none of this “I’m a woman now” in order to get out of registering. If you have a Y chromosome, you are required to register.

US citizens or immigrants who are born male and changed their gender to female are still required to register. Individuals who are born female and changed their gender to male are not required to register.”

Now, the website goes on to say that some “clarifications” are available for those who are transgender, especially since Selective Service registration used to be tied to federal student aid, and is still tied to job training.

NOTE: Transgender students are welcome to call us at 888-655-1825 regarding their registration requirements if they need a status information letter from Selective Service that clarifies whether or not they are exempt from the registration requirement. Individuals who have changed their gender to male will be asked to complete a Status Information Letter (SIL) request form and provide a copy of their birth certificate. Keep your original SIL and send copies to state-based financial aid institutions if needed.”

Now, how is that supposed to work when people are now retroactively allowed to alter their birth certificates to change their gender? Or pick a third gender? Changing your birth certificate is like changing the past to reflect the fiction that you want. How can Selective Service know that the birth certificate that reads “female” was always female?

And why would transmen not want to be recognized as men and register for the draft? After all, if gender is “just a social construct” and biology doesn’t matter, then shouldn’t transmen want to serve? After all, they claim to be male, and that they have ALWAYS been male, so what’s the problem? I mean, the military is all in on celebrating trans service members, right?

There’s only three ways this goes. The first way is that the status quo is upheld and males of all categories are still required to register (even though the current generation is definitely not into serving anything but themselves, speaking in broad generalities). The second way is that in the name of “equity,” those old Obama holdovers in the Biden administration finally get what they want, and women would be required to register for the draft as well. (Watch feminist heads explode should this happen, but we are likely inching ever closer to this change, thanks to the entire “equity” push.) The last way is for the Selective Service System to be ended altogether. And while some might see that as the only “fair” solution, do you really think the federal government is going to handicap itself by not getting all the information it can on prospective draftees, just in case? That’s not happening, not even under the most radical of administrations.

Sorry, transwomen. The Biden administration has decided that you can’t escape biology on this one. Turns out they really DO know what a woman is, they just want to pat you on the head and lie to you about it in order to look like they care. Quick, someone ask Joe Biden or Kamala Harris about this! The congnitive dissonance will be hilarious.
