Well, none of us saw that coming. But then again, it is AOC so anything goes. This time it’s the grand and icky announcement that she’s going through the regimen to harvest and freeze her eggs.

“Squad” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has started the process of freezing her eggs — and is using a vlog on Instagram to give her lefty fans mundane updates such as her taking hormonal injections.

Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), 36, revealed in a weekend post that she had been saving up for and contemplating the procedure for some time — hailing herself as a “badass” for taking on what tens of thousands of women have already gone through.

She said she felt “empowered” to start that process now while Congress is on its August recess.

This is all about future campaigns and votes. 

People forget her stump speeches. And her appearances at Foreign Policy Summits. … She makes Kamala seem "Learned".

Well yes. Sometimes Kamala truly did seem to be the smarter person in the room when you compare it to AOC’s garbage disposal discovery and finding out that vegetables grow … in the dirt. 

Again, this is complete pandering. It’s all about money and votes for her. 

“And as women in general, we are not taught about our bodies, we are not prepared for our own lives, whether that is in puberty, whether that is in pregnancy, whether that is in perimenopause, menopause, whether that is in so many different aspects of our lives,” she added.

Ocasio-Cortez also posted videos of herself — alongside her French Bulldog named Deco — talking about the medicine for the procedure and then injecting herself with it. After an injection, she remarked that it “wasn’t so bad.”

During her Sunday appearance on ABC News’s “This Week,” Ocasio-Cortez discussed her egg freezing, saying, “In this political environment where this administration is denying reproductive care to women across the country, from abortion rights to the ability to carry out a healthy pregnancy, I think it’s important for us, as leaders, to have these conversations and share these processes.”

Let’s stop right there. 

If AOC wasn’t taught about the key issues a girl faces as she’s entering into puberty, that’s on her Mom. As for pregnancy, does she not realize that there are a metric ton of books out there?? And that a good obstetrician can be an excellent resource? Oh and don’t forget about the plethora of blogs, social media and more that can help… or send one down weird rabbit holes. 

For AOC to bluntly declare that women these days just don’t have the knowledge and recourses available to figure out how to navigate pregnancy, abortion if they choose (I hope they don’t), perimenopause or menopause is … insulting. Just as insulting as the Democrats insisting the SAVE Act means women won’t be able to vote because they won’t know how to ensure they have the correct ID. 

Furthermore, she’s engaged. Is she not planning to get married and have babies anytime soon? Or is she no longer engaged? 

As for her comments about the denial of reproductive care, what she’s talking about is abortion. She’s talking about the states receiving back the authority via DOBBS to put laws in place that either do or don’t allow abortion. 

“I want you all to see that, because women can do anything,” she continued. “And I think it’s badass that I’m gonna be, you know, giving myself shots in the green room, get my glam on, roll out, talk international events, domestic policy, elections, pop out, live my life, do my thing.”

Ocasio-Cortez, who is 36, said in her post that she had been saving up to do this and weighing the decision for “a very long time.” She said she will continue to be vocal about the process of freezing her eggs and included a question prompt for people to submit questions.

That’s a gigantic LOOK AT MEEEEEE post. AOC is absolutely doing this for clicks, money, and votes. 

AOC has been engaged since 2022. But now as she teases a 2028 run, we are supposed to believe that harvesting and freezing her eggs is the answer because women are incapable of campaigning for office while pregnant?? Colorado’s Brittany Petterson, a Democrat who used her pregnancy and newborn baby as a prop for over a year, is a shining example as to why AOC’s assertions are a boatload of horseshit.

This is about votes. And I do have to wonder, is her fiancee not good enough to have babies with? 

The message she’s sending is wrong. She’s harvesting and freezing her eggs on the mythical idea that she can run for higher office, succeed, and then decide in her 40’s that it’s baby time.

Yep, pretty much. This isn’t “badass.” It’s a very sad commentary on today’s liberal mindset.
