All That Money For Nothing

All That Money For Nothing

All That Money For Nothing

All that money for nothing. While the clicks may have been ‘free,’ the results came at a YUGE cost. As in $1 BILLION dollars. That’s how much Kamala’s campaign raised and SPENT in 107 days.

Yes, you read that correctly. All that wonderful money that flowed in, flowed right back out at the speed of sound.

As we’ve discussed, the blame game between the Biden, Harris, Democrat camps has been fun to watch these last few days.

One person involved with Harris’ team told Axios: “The 107-day Harris campaign was nearly flawless. The Biden campaign that preceded it was the opposite.”

Another person involved in the vice president’s campaign said: “We did what we could. I think the odds against us were insurmountable,” referring to Biden’s low approval ratings and his late exit after the disastrous June debate that raised questions about his mental fitness.

In an implicit criticism of Biden’s team, top Harris aide David Plouffe posted on X that the campaign had “dug out of a deep hole.” He later deleted his account.

A former Biden staffer dismissed the Harris team’s criticisms as making excuses for the vice president’s failures: “How did you spend $1 billion and not win? What the f***?”

Now THAT folks, is a key question. In early October, the New York Times gleefully reported that Kamala’s campaign had raised over $1 BILLION dollars. An amount not only unheard of, but significant given the short time period.

So, what does one do when sitting on that gigantic mountain of cash? Spend it wisely and strategically, right? RIGHT??

That would be a hard no from Kamala and her team.

In mid-October, the Harris campaign disclosed that it had spent over $880 million this election, almost $526 million greater than the roughly $354 million that the Trump campaign had disclosed spending, according to a Washington Examiner analysis of federal filings. Much of the Harris campaign’s spending was allocated for digital media advertising, polling, and travel from state to state, including to a private jet company called Advanced Aviation.

Payroll and the taxes that accompanied it accounted for $56.6 million of the Harris campaign’s spending. In comparison, the Trump campaign reported spending $9 million on payroll — employing hundreds fewer staff members.

A great deal of that fabulous campaign cash went to consultants and social media influencers. Just how effective was this guy?

I happen to know which restaurant he’s at in Las Vegas, and that’s a $60 steak and $12 side he’s noshing on while lecturing potential voters. Kamala’s campaign certainly paid Harry well!

Keep in mind, while Kamala and her campaign was burning money hand over fist, they were also making some very bad choices. Zero press conferences, highly scripted interviews (one of which she was nearly 30 minutes late to), refusing to attend the Al Smith Dinner, making unreasonable demands of Joe Rogan and then refusing to sit down with him, but choosing instead to sit down with a sex podcaster. Oh, but there’s a catch to her cute little “Call Her Daddy” interview.

So, instead of going TO the podcaster’s studio, Alex Cooper agreed to, and was likely flown to wherever Kamala was, on the campaign’s dime. Not only that, but the campaign booked a hotel suite…and THEN BUILT A SET??!!

As Victory Girls Darleen put it to me last night, all that money for nothing and the clicks for free. Except that all that free shit came at the cost of $1 billion dollars! It turns out all those celebrity endorsements cost a pretty penny. Oprah’s Harpo Productions raked in a cool million. Oh, but there’s more.

Viva Creative, a marketing agency that has touted its work with Oprah, comedian Trevor Noah, the Washington Nationals baseball team, and American Express, scooped up $1.8 million from the Harris campaign for event production from September to October. A company called Production Management One in Maryland received $1.7 million, with large payments also going to Vox Productions, Temple University, Wizard Studios North, the Park Hyatt Chicago, and other entities for event production, filings show.

Then there was Majic Productions, a Wisconsin-based company, which has worked the NBA playoffs, the Super Bowl, and at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The Harris campaign paid that company $2.3 million.

All that money and for what? Beyonce to appear but not sing? Lizzo to trot out on stage, sing a couple of songs and then disappear? Julia Roberts lectures us, while aging rocker Bruce Springsteen warbles through a couple of his songs. Celebrities means VOTES! With a hefty price tag attached apparently.

Where DID that $1.39 billion go? At least $20 million went to those terrific election eve concerts. Most of which were put together at the last minute, thus costing a great deal more compared to if the seven swing state concerts had been planned in advance. And, as we know now, those concerts didn’t move the vote needle for Kamala AT. ALL.

President-elect Trump took all seven states BIG TIME.

And now, with reports coming in that Kamala not only blew through $1 billion, but her campaign is over $20 million in the hole, vendors and others are understandably concerned about …getting PAID.

The Peter Principle of feeling entitled to spend other people’s money was definitely in play here. They emptied the bank vault in record time and the result was a big fat ZERO.
