New York City Mayor, Eric Adams is taking on a new strategy in New York City and shooting down his left-wing critics.
How? Well, for one, Adams has mentioned that he is willing to meet with incoming Trump border czar, Tom Homan, to develop solutions to take on illegal immigrant criminals.
..we cannot ignore … the fact that the American people have communicated to us loudly and clearly: We have a broken system. They want to fix, and we need to fix our immigration system.
I’m not going to be warring with this administration, I’m going to be working with this administration. President Trump is the president-elect. And whomever he chooses to run his agencies. I’m looking forward to sitting down and see how do we better New York.”-Eric Adams
No, Mr. Adams. You will not be warring with thus administration because this administration is taking no BS. Even those of us who no longer live there are all for a better New York and while you may want that, your (very) liberal City Council and your Governor may want to “cancel” you after all.
On a positive note, some are hopeful that Eric Adams, after sending millions to Pakistan to put illegal criminals up in NYC Hotels and giving them a bunch of freebies, is seeing the error of his and his “we’re all immigrants” way of thinking. But that all was so Joe Biden Administration and so 2021. Start spreading the news…Adams is singing another tune (but the illegals are not leaving today):
I would like to speak with our border czar and find out what his plans are. Where our common grounds are, we can work together. And I strongly believe, my history is sitting down with those across the aisle with different ways of thinking and sit down and share my ideas. I believe I have some ideas that could deal with this issue, and we can reach what the American people have been saying to us: secure our borders, address the people who are committing violent acts in our country and make sure that … our citizens are going to be safe.”-Eric Adams

But, it was for years. Sadly, the numbers of violent crimes have gone unchecked for so long. Not to mention this:
This is a complete 180° from his previous position on sanctuary cities.
It's amazing what an indictment will do to a person!..

Think he wants a pardon from an incoming President? Perhaps?
While Adams has taken a stronger stance on keeping New York City safe by keeping criminals out, he’s also mentioned “those who are in the country illegally who are otherwise law-abiding should not be rounded up in the middle of the night.”
Honest question for Eric Adams here because I found this statement kind of funny: if you’re here illegally, are you really law-abiding? Only “criminal” illegal immigrants will get “rounded up in the middle of the night”? This is like saying, if you break into my house but you don’t steal anything, you won’t get arrested. Doesn’t matter if you still broke into my house…which is an illegal act.
While most are voicing support for Adams and his Immigration 180, there are those who are skeptical. I am one of these people. Eric Adams was pro-sanctuary city during his election campaign and well into his term. He had years to meet with the current “border czar”, though, it may have been hard to track her down or even get any work out of her. Who was she again? Adams’ pivot to the right and the timing of this shift seems a little too convenient to me.
If we can’t “round them up in the middle of the night” to send them back to their home countries, and Adams wants “illegals who are doing illegal things” out of NYC, perhaps he can chat with Mike Johnston and send them to Denver? Or maybe Mayor Brandon Johnson of Chicago? After all, Mike Johnston would be willing to go to jail and use force to protect illegals doing illegal, criminal things. And Windy City Chicago? Well, Brandon Johnson has another billion to blow, right? It’s just taxpayer money after all.
Congratulations, Mayor Adams is a courageous man!

Courageous would have been doing it right the first time and keeping the criminals out years ago. Courageous would have been speaking up before getting indicted. Courageous would have been deporting before $6.4 billion dollars was spent on this crisis. Whatever the case is, we’re at least glad Adams is now speaking up and willing to engage in implementing solutions to a problem, even though this was a problem he was largely responsible in creating.

Simple solution. Surround the Hotels where the illegal aliens are housed and go floor to floor. Put them in busses, take them to the nearest AF Base, and fly them back home.
