There is an agreed upon ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon. Which is something I and many others never thought we’d say let alone report on. Yet it is happening. What’s also interesting is that Iran is potentially caving on uranium enrichment. All three of these are tied together.
A tentative 10-day ceasefire was greeted with celebratory gunfire after the clocks hit midnight in Lebanon, as the U.S.-brokered deal that promised to halt Israeli strikes in the country went into force.
The ceasefire was announced early Thursday by President Donald Trump and confirmed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In a later video, Netanyahu said that Israel had an “opportunity to forge a historic peace agreement with Lebanon” but that Israeli forces would remain inside Lebanese territory in a “reinforced security buffer zone.”
There are some interesting details involved in this ceasefire peace deal per this joint statement from Israel and Lebanon.
1️⃣Israel and Lebanon “have reached an understanding in which both nations will work to create conditions conducive to lasting peace between the two countries, full recognition of each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and establishing genuine security along their shared border, while preserving Israel’s inherent right to self-defense.”
2️⃣“Both countries recognize the significant challenges faced by the Lebanese state from non-state armed groups” and “understand that those groups’ activities must be curtailed.”
3️⃣Israel and Lebanon “affirm that the two countries are not at war and commit to engaging in good-faith direct negotiations, facilitated by the United States, with the objective of achieving a comprehensive agreement that ensures lasting security, stability, and peace between the two countries.”
4️⃣Ten day “cessation of hostilities” to facilitate “good-faith negotiations toward a permanent security and peace agreement between Israel and Lebanon.”
5️⃣Ceasefire may be extended by mutual agreement if there is progress in negotiations “and as Lebanon effectively demonstrates its ability to assert its sovereignty.”
You’ll notice that they aren’t named, yet everyone in all the rooms knows darned well that the “non-state armed groups” are the Iranian backed Hezbollah terrorists.
One thing I wish would’ve been part of the immediate ceasefire agreement is Lebanon kicking Hezbollah out of the country. However, where would they go? To Iran?
An Iran that is broke, and getting broker by the day/hour as long as President Trump keeps the Strait of Hormuz blocked?

President Trump's blockade on their oil is resulting in MASS PANIC because the IRGC and military may soon go UNFUNDED.

As long as Iran’s oil ships can’t leave and oil tankers from China can’t dock and fill with oil, the Iran leadership is stuck. So why would Hezbollah want to go back to their benefactors if A. the money train is drying up and B. Iran is now signaling there’s a possible agreement to stop enriching uranium?
President Donald Trump said Thursday that Iran has agreed to hand over “nuclear dust” that was buried by last year’s U.S. airstrikes on key Iranian nuclear facilities, a claim that, if accurate, would be a significant step in U.S. efforts to reduce Tehran’s ability to produce a nuclear weapon.
There was no immediate confirmation from the Iranian side that it had made the concession in talks with Americans and their Pakistani interlocutors as a two-week ceasefire nears its expiration Tuesday. Previous U.S. claims about Iranian nuclear commitments have turned out to be inaccurate or have fallen through.
“Nuclear dust” has been Trump’s phrase to describe the highly enriched uranium that the International Atomic Energy Agency, or IAEA, has said is buried deep underneath the ground following U.S. strikes in June on three key nuclear facilities. Its existence in Iran’s hands has been a key point of tension between the Trump administration and Tehran. The enriched uranium has been a security concern for the United States, because the material could be used in service of creating a nuclear weapon.
Let me stop the WaPo ‘journalists’ in their tracks. Iran enriching uranium has been a WORLD security issue because it isn’t just the United States that they hate. Furthermore, as much as the EU, France itself, and too many Democrats refuse to face; Iran’s sponsoring of terror and push for nuclear weapons has also been part of Lebanon’s ending up as a front for Hezbollah.

The ceasefire and potential peace deal between Israel and Lebanon is huge on all levels. But it does also need to hold as long as Hezbollah doesn’t decide to play terrorist games.
I wonder if Mossad has any more pagers available? While there are already reports of shelling from either Lebanon or Israel, I’d be looking at Hezbollah instead.
President Donald Trump said Thursday he hopes Hezbollah will “act nicely” amid the 10-ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon.
“I hope Hezbollah acts nicely and well during this important period of time,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social.
“It will be a great moment for them if they do. No more killing. We must finally have peace!” he added.
The 10-day ceasefire, announced earlier Thursday, is to pause weeks of fighting between Israel and Lebanon and allow space for negotiations toward a peace agreement
Will the ceasefire hold? That depends upon how eager Lebanon is to ensure Hezbollah doesn’t screw things up. As for Iran, are they really wanting the “nuclear dust” gone and will stand down on uranium enrichment? Time will tell.
