Is yet another shoe to fall soon at Fox News? On Saturday, the channel suspended Eric Bolling, host of “The Specialists,” for allegedly ‘sexting.’
According to reports, Bolling sent pictures of male genitals to at least two female colleagues at Fox News and Fox Business. Some are previous Fox employees while others are current. One women replied to the pictures by ordering Bolling to stop sending her such (ahem) junk.
But hold on — where did this news come from? The Huffington Post started the ball rolling on Bolling. And not only did they cite the usual “anonymous” victims, but they claimed fourteen — fourteen! sources for this story. Furthermore, these incidents supposedly happened years ago.
Now, as of Saturday, Fox News has officially suspended him. The network moved quickly:
“Eric Bolling has been suspended pending the results of an investigation, which is currently underway.”
If you’re thinking that this is another witch hunt designed to bring down Fox News, you’d be spot on. For example, here’s what one Democratic pollster tweeted after the suspension:

Yeah, they’d love another scalp on their belt. However, is Bolling the innocent lamb in this sordid story?
While denying his client’s wrongdoing, Bolling’s attorney, Michael J. Bowe, also made this comment regarding the allegedly sexting:
“Mr. Bolling recalls no such inappropriate communications, does not believe he sent any such communications, and will vigorously pursue his legal remedies for any false and defamatory accusations that are made.”
Um, okay. That doesn’t sound much like a flat-out denial to me. Bolling doesn’t “recall” sending those texts? He doesn’t “believe” he sent them? Tell me, gentlemen, if you sent texted dirty pictures to a woman who wasn’t your wife, wouldn’t you remember them?
Moreover, don’t these type of statements ring a bell? Like Hillary Clinton telling the FBI not once, not twice, but 40 times how she couldn’t remember how she handled classified documents? So what about Eric Bolling and his denial/not denial? Isn’t that just as sketchy?
After all, remember that Anthony Weiner at first claimed that someone “hacked” his Twitter account before finally ‘fessing up to his naughty deeds.
Look, it’s pretty obvious that the Left would love to take down Fox News. And Eric Bolling is one of President Trump’s loudest supporters at Fox, so he’s one bull elephant they’d like to bag. But is he innocent? Honestly, I don’t know what to believe anymore.
If he did that, he needs therapy, not a suspension. Publicly acknowledge the problem and go into therapy and be an example. It’s a form of exhibitionism (like the guys who’d flash), using higher tech than a raincoat. If he’s serious and follows the therapy, he can save his career. If, like Anthony Weiner, he only puts on a show for the public, his career is ruined. Either way, he’s an example of something Progressives try to ignore – conduct has consequences.
