Are you a woman? More importantly, are you a woman who voted for Donald Trump?
If you did vote for Trump, Michael Moore wants you to know that you are a victim. You need to be pitied because you didn’t follow the feminist crowd that wore the silly pink hats and marched for. . . hmm, what was it they wanted to accomplish? Good question.
Talk about concern trolling. That’s not “pity.” That’s contemptuous and patronizing.
How about me, Michael? I didn’t vote for Trump sheerly out of conservative principles. It had nothing to do with feminism. But I knew that I lived in a solid red state, and I knew that our electoral college votes would go for Trump. You see, I’m aware of how the electoral college works, and I had that luxury of being able to vote according to my conscience. So am I one of your “victims?”
But now, Michael, I am cautiously optimistic about our new President. Sometimes I facepalm, especially with his obsessive need to counterpunch. More often I cheer him on, especially when he appoints good people like General James Mattis as Secretary of Defense, and Mike Pompeo to the CIA. I’m ecstatic that he’s started on the path to dismantling Obamacare.
Feel sorry for me yet?
Believe it or not, Michael, there are conservative women like me who actually think about issues. We live by conservative principles of ordered liberty, and endorse traditional morals, smaller government, and strong defense of the nation. We would rather be inspired by the wisdom of our Founders and the brilliance of such minds as Russell Kirk rather than the faux Beat poetry spouted by the deranged Ashley Judd at the Womens March.
We need your fake “pity,” Michael, like we need to see another one of your lousy films. Like we needed Hillary Clinton as our president. And like you need another cheeseburger.
Which is not at all.
Hey! Don’t chide Michael Moore about eating cheeseburgers! If he stops, half the cattle ranches in Texas go bankrupt!
Let them keep living in their fantasy worlds and keep losing elections. We didn’t elect Trump because we’re victims, we elected him because we’re NOT victims and are tired of being called one.
Shakespeare’s Macbeth had Moore pegged:
“…a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more…a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.”
Actually, that pretty much nails the vast majority of these progressive whiners since the election…
Is this the same Michael Moore who divorced his wife of 21 years because, in his opinion, she spent too much of “his” money renovating their Michigan Mansion home?
