A word of caution. This story will turn your stomach. If you watch the videos, you will be filled with rage.
Yesterday, Chicago Police intercepted a young white man who they said seemed “disoriented.” They were then able to link him to a reported assault, and determine that he was the victim in that case.

Besides the obviously physical trauma to the victim, the perpetrators had committed this assault on Facebook Live, courtesy of one Brittany Herring, who decided to smoke a marijuana blunt and livestream the whole thing.
The video was removed from Facebook, but not before it was copied off and circulated around. Several copies of the assault are now on YouTube as well. CONTENT WARNING: the videos linked contain profanity and assault. Watch at your own risk.

For those of you who can’t watch, here is a description of what happens:
In the video, believed to be from Tuesday, the victim’s clothes were cut, he was peppered with cigarette ashes, and then his hair cut with a knife until his scalp bled. Several people can be seen laughing and eating during the attack, in addition to making disparaging remarks about President-elect Donald Trump and using racially charged language.
Chicago Police gave a press conference about the case this evening, and released more details.

The victim had been reported missing and “at-risk” because of his special needs.

The police do not think this was a “hate crime,” but “stupidity.”
Although President-elect Donald Trump was mentioned, Chicago Police do not believe the crime was politically motivated.
“I think some of it is just stupidity, people just ranting about something that they think might make a headline. I don’t think that at this point we have anything concrete to really point us in that direction, but we’ll keep investigating and we’ll let the facts guide us on how this concludes,” Supt. Johnson said.
Well, let’s play the game I call “Reverse the Races.” If this was a young black man with special needs who had been kidnapped and tortured for hours by four white suspects, while a young white woman smokes a blunt, I think all we would hear, like a constant drumbeat, would be “hate crime.”
The authorities should recognize the double standard, and throw the book at these suspects when they are charged tomorrow. I pray the victim has a strong support system and is able to recover physically and emotionally from this horrific attack.
Absolutely horrific! They should be put down like the rabid animals they are! Unfortunately, considering the races involved, and the fact that it’s chicago, they’ll probably get probation at most.
And do I need to say ” if Obama had four sons?”
It’s just an innocent co-inky-dink I tells ya, a co-inky-dink!
Like doctors chatting about unrelated issues during surgery, these innocent yoots were having a spirited philosophical, hypothetical (e.g, “pathetic”) discussion about the subtle intricacies of interracial relations while trying to persuade this poor soul to change his (assumed) political leanings through gentle, reasoned logic.
Besides, this is already old news. The past it the past donthca know? Nothing to see here; move along.
Say, how about an in-depth discussion of systemic, societal racism, yes?
Ummm….sure…..
It makes you wonder what would make individuals treat somebody like that
Ummm, maybe racism? Or “hate”? That answer always seems easy when it meets some prog narrative.
This case makes the argument for bringing back horse-whipping. (Using “inhumane” as an argument against making the punishment fit the crime is part of the “… then civilization makes weak people…” cycle.)
My friends in Japan, who’ve always worried about crime in America, think we have lost our ever-lovin’ minds. They saw this story and wonder why the police seem to be shrugging it off as just “stupid kids.” I tell them, in the words of the late great Sam Cooke, A Change Is Gonna Come, beginning 1/20. But I fear for too many of the young people they are, in the words of HilLIARy, irredeemable.
