I’ll be upfront here: I’m not voting for Donald Trump. The only person who can change my mind about that is Trump himself, and so far he’s been an Epic Fail.
But Laura Ingraham thinks she can convince me to vote for him by accusing me of supporting partial birth abortion.
Because browbeating people is a great way to get them to side with you.
Here she is — flanked by fellow Trump flacks Sean Hannity and Mike Huckabee — taking aim at people like me. Hannity piles on as well, threatening Paul Ryan and recalcitrant conservatives: “Never Trump” conservatives “don’t deserve any more discussion until the day after election. Then I got a lot to say about Paul Ryan and the rest of them.”
Oooh, I’m so scared!
Yes, the beatings will continue until morale improves.
Ingraham doesn’t know me. She doesn’t know the support I’ve given, in both sweat and finances, to pro-life causes and candidates. But she has no problem spewing garbage about people like me — while wearing that large gold cross of hers — because we won’t kowtow to her political Adonis.
I wonder if she’s aware of this 1999 statement of Trump. Of course she is. She just chooses to brush it off.
Oh, but he’s changed! He’s pro-life now!
When did he become such a champion for life — about 15 minutes ago? When he needed to con shore up conservative voters?
But I guess abortion isn’t such a big issue for some conservatives after all. It’s all about the Trump.
I could insert a couple of blonde jokes about Ingraham and Coulter and mental capacity, but it would be as ridiculous as Ingraham accusing Never Trumpers of supporting partial birth abortion.
Look, I understand how people plan to support and vote for Trump because he’s the only viable alternative to Hillary. I totally get that. I respect them. It’s particularly agonizing for Republicans in swing states who will vote for Trump only as a pushback to Clinton.
I live in the bloody red state of Kansas. Its measly six electoral college votes will go to Trump anyway, no matter if I vote for him or not.
But I will absolutely vote for down ballot Republican candidates. We need to remember that it’s our representation in Washington that can push back against Hillary Clinton after her impending tsunami victory. And it’s coming, whether we like it or not.
I thought we conservative Republicans respected people of conscience. Instead we’re eating our own during this election. As Trump would say, “SAD!”

You say ‘people like you.’ What does that mean? Was she generalizing when speaking about the Democrats or am I missing something? Are you a Republican? You say you’ve contributed and worked for the unborn. Thank you. I don’t do enough. May I also ask if you’re a Christian? If so, do you sin less and less each day that passes? I try. I believe that between the time Trump said he WAS for abortion (he guesses so), and now, he accepted Christ. Do you know or remember what that was like? All the failures? The repentance and failures again? Please think about this. If Billy Graham and James Dobson can forgive him, shouldn’t we try?

We can forgive Trump all we want. I still don’t think he is fit for office. There’s a big difference.

If Trump has accepted Christ, he wouldn’t be out there bragging about sexually assaulting women. That has to be one of the least “Christ like” behaviors I have seen him exhibit. Also, I support Kim’s right to insist that Trump earn her vote. He didn’t earn mine either.

Mr. Trump. I am praying he fills his cabinet with excellent, conservatives, and his choices for the Supreme Court will reflect the list he made public. No, you don’t get a pass for ignorance. The GOP not only did nothing to stop the Left’s onslaught they active participated. They also went along while they Left destroyed every other GOP candidate thinking that Trump would be the weakest to ensure a Clinton victory. The same victory you say is inevitable. I will tell you what I will do, vote for Trump then I will vote straight Democrat. I want to see the faces of my opposition. The GOP stabbed every conservative right in the back and continue to do so with your support. We see you quite clearly.
