Texas Democrats’ Beto 2.0, James Talarico, may have beaten the toxic racist, Jasmine Crockett, in the primaries but that’s not saying much when peeling back the layers of the white guy who makes Dylan Mulvaney look butch.
Worried that Talarico — 37 years old and never married — might not play too well with family-oriented voters, his campaign was eager to announce The Girlfriend™ last May. Out of Central Casting to keep James’ far-left creds, she’s vegan, does yoga and love-love-loves to spend free evenings dancing in gay bars.
How convenient for James.
Coy about when exactly this four-year relationship started, it has finally been nailed down that, yes, the hook-up between James and Brianna started while he was her boss.
After months of ignoring questions and concerns regarding James Talarico’s romantic relationship with a former member of his Texas House staffer Brianna Menard, his campaign has finally confirmed that the pair’s relationship began while Menard worked in Talarico’s office.
While “dating the boss” is an old story, the Talarico campaign trying to massage the timeline to sidestep the inevitable ethics questioning has done little more than bring attention to it. Including a more serious claim that Talarico used his influence to get Brianna another taxpayer-funded job.
A 2022 Texas Tribune interview with Salman Bhojani reveals that James Talarico used his position to secure a taxpayer-funded job for his soon-to-be girlfriend Brianna Menard. The Talarico campaign has acknowledged that Menard left his staff so that they could date. pic.twitter.com/V0t2LRAL1r

It also appears that James likes to fish more than once in the same pond.
To make matters worse, Menard is not the first Texas House staffer who Talarico kindled a romantic relationship with. (snip) Townhall previously reported that Talarico had a relationship with a staffer in a different office prior to his relationship with Menard. The second woman who Talarico dated would eventually find employment with the Texas House Democratic Caucus and receive thousands of dollars in payments.
Regardless of Talarico’s preference for female employees, it hasn’t stopped the endless bits satirizing his attempts to be a Regular Guy.

Pickup trucks and fair food isn’t going to erase the Talarico ick factor of attending gr00ming events …
James Talarico, a Presbyterian seminarian running for U.S. Senate from Texas, headlined an LGBTQ festival that featured “the absolute cutest & youngest of our drag performers,” an 11-year-old boy “drag queen” who goes by the stage name Kween Kee Kee.
Taylor PRIDE, a group in the town of Taylor, Texas, held the June 26, 2021, event to raise money to help “rural LGBTQ communities.” The Pride Month festivities included a series of pro-LGBTQ speakers, live music, a “drag story hour,” and adult drag performers such as Brianna Brinxx and the provocatively named Sedonya Face.
Eleven.years.old. A boy still in grade school is engaged in America’s version of bacha bazi and Talarico lends his support and encouragement?
Talarico’s attendance at the festival—in a small, conservative town almost 50 miles from the liberal enclave of Austin—underscores how his positions on social issues, including exposing children to sexually charged subject matter, may differ from the views of the broader Texas electorate.
Ya think?
