Stormy Time In The Trump Hush Money Trial

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, step right up. The circus is back in the Rotten Apple. In just five days, on April 15, it will be Stormy Time in New York City when Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg brings his “hush money” case against former President and presumptive Republican 2024 candidate Donald J. Trump. Podcaster Megyn Kelly predicted on the News Nation channel that Donald Trump will be convicted. Although it will be a royal miscarriage of justice, it’s very hard to disagree with her prediction.

Megyn Kelly has always had a turbulent relationship with President Trump. She’s a gadfly and enjoys taking controversial positions for argument’s sake. She also likes to poke the bear for clicks, but when she’s right she’s right. It’s hard to see how any jury would let Trump walk, even with these cobbled charges, because Trump is the lovechild of Adolf Hitler and Beelzebub. Here’s Megyn’s position according to The Hill:

Conservative commentator Megyn Kelly predicted former President Trump will be easily convicted in the hush money case he faces in connection with adult film star Stormy Daniels.

“Oh, he’s getting convicted. I don’t really think there’s a lot of mystery about that,” Kelly said Tuesday during an appearance on NewsNation’s “Dan Abrams Live.” “He shouldn’t, but he’s going to get convicted. The jury’s going to hate him.”

Conservative commentator Megyn Kelly predicted former President Trump will be easily convicted in the hush money case he faces in connection with adult film star Stormy Daniels.

“Manhattan went 92 percent, between 87 and 92 percent for Joe Biden,” she told host Dan Abrams. “That’s where this is going to be tried. These are not Trump lovers.”

Occupy Democrats is positively giddy over the prospect of Trump’s conviction. They don’t care what it does to “Truth, Justice and the American Way”:

Mike Sington, retired NBC Senior Executive and Trump hater of renown, posted this on X:

Megyn Kelly made clear to Dan Abrams, as she has made clear in the past, that she believes Trump had “relations” with Stormy Daniels. Who knows? I wasn’t there, but it has been reported everywhere, but the legacy media, that lawyer Michael Cohen had the affair with Daniels and they both set Trump up:

The saga surrounding Stormy Daniels and its entanglement with Trump persists, with ongoing legal battles concerning Trump’s payments to his lawyer, Michael Cohen, unfolding in New York courts to this very day.

Now, a figure closely associated with the original Stormy Daniels case has stepped forward, shedding light on some intriguing details between the exotic dancer and Cohen. In a riveting social media thread on X, the user alleges that Daniels and Cohen had been involved in an affair since 2006, with Stormy’s controversial lawyer, Michael Avenatti, reportedly fully aware of the situation. Furthermore, it’s claimed that the entire “hush money” arrangement was concocted by Cohen as a means of financially pressuring Trump.

Avenatti, in an interview with Ari Melber, let it be known that he also thinks Trump will be found guilty:

From MSNBC:

n Tuesday, “The Beat” aired an exclusive interview he gave to Ari Melber — Avenatti’s first from federal prison — and, as you might imagine, the two had plenty to talk about.
Avenatti has had a lot of time to think — and apparently a lot to say, too. He told Melber that he thinks Trump will be convicted, but voiced concern that the case has gone “stale at this juncture.” And he said the choice to file the charges in New York state court was ill-advised. (Trump has pleaded not guilty and is set to face his first criminal trial next week.)

At one point, he even pushed some rather Trumpian talking points, suggesting that it’s a mistake to “potentially deprive tens of millions of Americans of their choice for the presidency of the United States … based on a case of this nature.” The remark was indicative of a shift in tone for Avenatti, from boastful anti-Trump braggart to, perhaps, someone more contemplative or calculated.

It’s not hard to see Trump getting convicted in this trumped up case with a Manhattan jury. Whether it stand or not, we’ll have to wait and see.
