The Biden Administration’s latest gambit on battling climate change quietly dropped Friday. This time it’s the new yet old proposal to BLOCK THE SUN.
Yes, you read that correctly. Blocking the sun will stop this planet from getting too warm and heating us to death.
The White House offered measured support for the idea of studying how to block sunlight from hitting Earth’s surface as a way to limit global warming, in a congressionally mandated report that could help bring efforts once confined to science fiction into the realm of legitimate debate.
The controversial concept known as solar radiation modification is a potentially effective response to fighting climate change, but one that could have unknown side effects stemming from altering the chemical makeup of the atmosphere, some scientists say.
Now how would this be accomplished? Let’s go back to the last line in the paragraph above – “altering the chemical makeup of the atmosphere.” Yes folks, it means exactly what you think it means.
The report noted several ways authorities could look to achieve SRM, all of which come with potentially devastating consequences if they backfire.
One method would be to significantly increase the amount of aerosols in the stratosphere, which would reflect the sun’s rays from the planet.
Other ideas floated included increasing cloud coverage over oceans, or reducing the amount of cirrus cloud formations, which reflect solar radiation back to the Earth.
The report noted that undertaking the mammoth task could have severe ramifications weather patterns and food supplies, which would in turn impact biodiversity, geopolitics, and health.
Remember all the warnings that using aerosols such as hairspray was going to punch holes in the ozone? I do. But now the use of aerosols to cool the planet is ok? Pick a lane guys.
Except they can’t pick a lane. The climate change global warming/cooling activists refuse to acknowledge that their so-called science is faulty and in fact is detrimental to human survival. See Sri Lanka as a prime example.
Besides, what could possibly go wrong with changing cloud formations and trying to essentially freeze the oceans with more cloud cover? Did any of those so-called climate experts ask ocean scientists if this was a good idea? I bet not.
Supposedly Biden has been noodling on this idea for awhile.
Is anyone asking a different question… is this even remotely a good idea?? Some do think so.
Since it’s clear eliminating fossil is practically impossible, this makes eminent good sense.

Before humanity cut particulate emissions to avoid global COOLING, said particles used to form cloud cover that essentially did just this.
The proposed fix restores that balance.
Yes, I tried to figure out if the above Twitter account is parody, but I’m not entirely sure it is. However, others are pointing out the fallacies of this stance …

Yes, about those “unknown side effects.” Some if not all the side effects to blocking the sun, attempting to alter how clouds work, and cooling the ocean with more cloud cover are glaringly obvious.
Do you want food? You really kind of NEED Sun to grow food.
Babies with jaundice need SUN to help alleviate the issue. It’s a Vitamin D thing folks.
Physical and mental health issues stemming from lack of sun are common in areas such as Alaska, Iceland, and Norway where people go months at a time with only an hour or so of daylight during the winter months. Have those climate experts considered THOSE ramifications if they are successful at blocking the sun? I think not.
How about those solar panels? Sun is necessary, according to our climate change betters, to power one’s home, towns, and cities. Yet if the sun is blocked, wouldn’t that render the solar fields useless? As useless as they were during the massive Texas ice storms?
How about wind? If the sun is blocked and cloud formations are altered, won’t that cause issues with the wind power?
All our fabulous experts aren’t asking those questions. Instead they are lamenting that the smoke from the Canadian wildfires is…racist.
The smoke is impacting air quality issues for poor and Black communities that already are more likely to live near polluting plants and in rental housing with mold. https://t.co/8u1QutUk4w

I’d say that these aren’t serious people, but we should absolutely take them at their word. The climate alarmist/experts are so embedded in their narratives that they will attempt such moves as polluting the atmosphere with aerosols, try to change how clouds move and are formed, and block the sun.
These are dangerous people so embedded in the cult of climate change that they are incapable of seeing the forest for the trees. These are the same people that have come up with the brand spanking new idea of using “kites” to move boats around the ocean.
These are the same people who are channeling “The Simpsons” to come up with the latest and greatest climate change fix of blocking the sun.

Blocking the sun is an incredibly dangerous idea to us all and it should be lambasted and halted in its tracks.

The whackos strive to show that neither God nor Mother Nature is more powerful than the woke crowd!
“… block sunlight from hitting Earth’s surface as a way to limit global warming.”
I can see a new Ice age on the horizon.
As for smoke from forest fires, we Australians are very familiar with such events each summer. If we are upwind of the fire we cop no smoke. If we are downwind of the fire then the Heavens are ‘clouded’ with smoke – I’ve seen the sun shining blood red through smoke, the air becomes dense, ash falls from the sky, breathing more difficult, especially for those with asthma.
I didn’t know till now that forest/bush fires are racist phenomena. My experience has been that such catastrophic events effect all those downwind of such fires. [Historically the aborigines pre-colonisation used fire to clear the underbrush in the eucalypt forests to aid in food gathering and hunting and stimulate new plant growth. I suppose fire used by the aborigines pre-white settlement wouldn’t be considered ‘racist’?] Using the same logic as the wokist climate freaks I must now re-evaluate the Mt. Saint Helens explosion of May 1980. I was living on U. of Chicago campus at the time and remember the ash cloud that spread all over the country. Clearly the explosion of Mt. Saint Helens was a conservative and racist plot to harm the ‘ethnic’ population.
Okay, but tell me how long the View ladies and Governor Abrams of Georgia can stay up in space to block the sun.
[…] AGAIN LET ME REMIND EVERYONE THAT HUMANS THRIVE IN WARM PERIODS AND DIE OUT IN COLD PERIODS: Biden On Climate Change: Block The Sun Man! […]
What will be the effect of lowering sunshine on agriculture?? Plants need, and thrive on, CO2, and sunshine. If this ridiculous proposal goes astray it might well lead to food unavailability, and maybe even starvation!!
