The gaffes just keep on coming. Biden just can’t or is cognitively unable to help himself. Hell, he can’t even keep things straight using cue cards!
It’s apparent to every rational person on the planet (who isn’t a leftist Democrat) that Joe Biden is an unmitigated disaster. His trip to Europe resulted in the White House doing mad scrambles multiple times in an effort to clean up his mess. It wasn’t just ONE gaffe, there were multiple gaffes. This is a feature folks, not a bug.
It’s a feature that is dangerous for the United States on the domestic front, AND a very big danger to us internationally. Here are three of the major gaffes from his cartoonish European spin.
A. In spite of what he said, the U.S. is not putting troops into Ukraine
B. No, the U.S. absolutely isn’t considering using chemical weapons against Russia
C. Advocating for regime change in Russia? Absolutely not.
The White House had to definitively walk back all three of those assertions from Biden within minutes and hours of those gaffes falling out of his mouth.
Fast forward to yesterday’s Q&A with reporters. Not only did Biden have a cheat sheet of which reporters to call upon, he had cue cards.
President Joe Biden once again referred to a printed cheat sheet sheet as he doubled down on his unscripted weekend claim that Vladimir Putin “cannot remain in power.”
On Monday Biden, 79, told reporters he made “no apologies” for his remarks — made off the cuff and not part of his prepared speech in a nationally televised address from Poland Saturday — and did not view it as a provocation to Russia.
“It’s more an aspiration than anything. He shouldn’t be in power. There’s no — I mean, people like this shouldn’t be ruling countries, but they do. The fact is they do, but it doesn’t mean I can’t express my outrage about it.”
So, in spite of the White House walk backs, Biden DOES want regime change in Russia and is openly rooting for it. Fabulous, we are in the very best of hands right now with Brandon at the helm.
In spite of the cue cards, which I’ll get to in a minute, Biden continued his gaffe tour with his answers to Fox’s Peter Doocy.
Doocy: "The big things you say on the world stage keep getting walked back."

Biden: "What's getting walked backed?"
Biden: You told troops they are going to Ukraine, the U.S. would use a chemical weapon, and called for regime change in Russia.
Biden: "None of the 3 occurred." pic.twitter.com/cwZPzANIoC
Granted, Biden probably believes that none of it happened as he likely doesn’t even remember what he had for breakfast yesterday! That said, he DID say those things and the White House DID have to yank it all back and clarify his statements.
Yet leave it to Biden to essentially screw up his own cue cards and call Peter Doocy “silly” for trying to get additional clarification.
Doocy: "And when you said a chemical weapon used by Russia would trigger a response in kind —"
— Curtis Houck (@CurtisHouck) March 28, 2022
Biden: "It will trigger a significant response."
Doocy: "— what does that mean?"
Biden: "I'm not going to tell you./ Why would I tell you? You gotta be silly." pic.twitter.com/5Ctcn56EbU
Biden had to have “I was not articulating a change in policy” written verbatim on a notecard so he wouldn’t screw it up… and he still screwed it up pic.twitter.com/OvEwlHQVry

Here’s another gaffe that is needing some clean up, or at least some help in putting things together. It seems that Biden’s promise to send 15 billion tons of LNG (liquified natural gas) to Europe through the rest of this year came as a HUGE surprise to the industry.
While committing the US to help Germany and other European nations wean themselves off of Russian natural gas seems to be a noble goal, there is just one problem: The President apparently didn’t talk the US LNG industry about it before he made the agreement. Reading the quotes from executives at Tellurian in the New York Times article linked here, it is apparent that they were caught off-guard by the President’s announcement. “I have no idea how they are going to do this, but I don’t want to criticize them, because for the first time they are trying to do the right thing,” said Charif Souki, the Times quotes executive chairman of Tellurian as saying.
Given that the Biden Administration has slowed or halted permitting processes across that industry, yet is suddenly telling the same industry to ramp up export and pipeline infrastructure to meet his promises. Except they are private industries, not federal agencies.
Thus, it seems that the President has made a commitment on behalf of a competitive, capitalist industry that he has no non-emergency authority to fulfill. Additionally, the pattern of the Biden administration to this point would indicate that it has little willingness to take the policy actions it could conceivably take to help facilitate the meeting of the goals set in the agreement with the EU. Piling insult on top of injury, it further seems as if the administration failed to perform needed outreach to the big industry players before making the commitment on their behalf.
By golly, the gaffes just keep on coming and not a cue card in sight! Once again, he changed the script. Waiting for the White House to bat cleanup in 3, 2, 1…
Meanwhile Biden has his gaffe defenders!

Sorry Billy, there is ZERO comparison! Reagan’s line was planned and debated. Biden’s line appeared out of thin air!
Oh wait, here’s Leon Panetta with the REAL explanation of Biden’s continual gaffes.
Joe’s “IRISH” so we can just stay prepared for him to continually F**K things up and watch the White House scramble to bat cleanup for the next three years? Wow.

I suspect that if President Reagan had said “Tear down Mr. Gorbachev!” the reaction might have been different. It certainly would have made it harder to successfully negotiate the elimination of Soviet SS-20 missiles.
Biden saying that he was referring to US troops training Ukrainians in Poland was another gaff. His National Security Adviser had earlier denied that the US military was still training Ukrainian anywhere,
