They did everything they could to keep him off the bench. First, Dianne Feinstein lobbed a grenade into the confirmation hearings with sexual assault allegations against a man with a stellar reputation. And then the pile-on began: Kamala Harris doctored a video to make it appear as if Judge Kavanaugh said something he didn’t. And then came Cory Booker, who infamously deemed himself “Spartacus.” And of course, Fauxcahontas raised campaign cash off the allegations. And now they’re after Justice Kavanaugh again. (Victory Girl, Deanna, covered the newest bull excrement here.)

And naturally, the usual suspects—Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Julián Castro, Pete Buttigieg, and Robert Francis O’Rourke thus far—have jumped aboard the IMPEACH JUSTICE KAVANAUGH! leaking dingy, you know, due process be damned. But rather than allow them control over the narrative, I’d prefer to analyze the reasons behind their latest outrage. Why is Justice Kavanaugh once again the target of the left, including several 2020 Democrat presidential candidates? Here’s my take, in no particular order:

1. They know they can’t beat Trump. Their policy proposals are so extreme that even members of their own party are calling them out. The Fake Mexican wants forcible confiscation of our weapons; the Fake Indian wants our taxes raised and our health care policies eliminated; Willie Brown’s former mistress doesn’t know what she wants, but she’s willing to say and do just about anything to get herself elected. Once an oldest-profession-in-the-world, always an oldest-profession-in-the-world.
2. They know their extremist views on abortion are abhorrent to most Americans. Every single Democrat running supports abortion up until the moments before birth, and even after. Most of America does not. Plus scientific advances have made it possible for babies to survive outside the womb at earlier gestational ages. Not to mention, there is no logical argument to be made that a human being with its own distinct DNA is “a woman’s body.” In fact, Kamala Harris—confronted with the ghoulish behavior of Planned Parenthood—chose not to prosecute the organization, but rather persecuted the messenger. So, yeah, this is about maintaining Roe v. Wade. And the money with which Planned Parenthood lines Democrats’ pockets.
3. They are fearful that Ruth Bader-Ginsburg could be replaced by Trump. She’s had multiple bouts with cancer. She’s 86 years old. And should she retire, she holds the seat that would be a SCOTUS game-changer if filled by a Republican president. Couple this with knowing you likely can’t beat Trump, and it explains the hyper-focus on politically assassinating Justice Kavanaugh. It’s their desperate crap shoot: Kavanaugh’s replacement would get smacked with the Biden Rule, leaving the seat open until after the 2020 general election, when Dems hope to re-take the White House, perhaps their only chance at holding the seat…and halting all of this.
4. They think impeaching Kavanaugh will bolster their goal of impeaching Trump. They’ve got nothin’. They know they’ve got nothin’. But if they can successfully hang the “sexual predator” albatross around Justice Kavanaugh’s neck, then they can move to impeach them both. In their narrative, Kavanaugh was nominated to the bench by an “illegitimate president,” himself placed there by Russia. Therefore his SCOTUS picks are also “illegitimate,” as are all of their decisions.
5. Removing the focus from themselves (gun grabbing, tax increases, open borders, hatred of America, etc etc etc). Is there anything more politically crazy than inciting a second Civil War? That’s the label Blockhead Beto has hung around the necks of every single one of them. They know it. Their colleagues know it. And the surge in gun sales across the country tells them Americans are paying close attention and know that the Second Amendment is in the DNC’s cross-hairs. Again.
6. Cementing the women’s vote. Except…I’m a woman and I can see that this is nothing but another witch hunt designed to impress my gender and garner votes. Women aren’t this gullible. We also have sons, and husbands, and fathers. And we care about due process and the presumption of innocence. I know; novel idea, right Counselor Kamala? Hey…maybe we should ask ‘ol Julián how he’d react if obviously false allegations were lobbed at him…would he just shrivel up and slink away? I’d hope not. I’d hope he’d do exactly what Judge Kavanaugh did in defense of his good name.

Remember, Kamala Harris earned herself the Four Pinocchio/Flaming Liar award for the Kavanaugh video she altered. Booker proved himself nothing but a showboat given the demands he was making of the judicial committee had already been granted (I guess he forgot the part about Spartacus losing!). And they were promptly filleted by Senator Cruz:

And Julián Castro? Well, he’s just a mean boy who defended his brothers’ doxing of people who hold divergent political views.

But the most dangerous thing about the reactions of these wannabe presidents is their total disregard for the presumption of innocence and their willingness to destroy lives in their quests for power. It tells us everything we need to know about them: if you’ve listened to them closely, you already know that every single one of them, perhaps with the exception of Tulsi Gabbard, is a dictator awaiting power. If only the plebes would hand it to them. And that’s precisely why we never should.

Just like the latest one (part of which the New York Times had to walk back*), anyone with an ounce of intellectual honesty knows that the charges lodged against Judge Kavanaugh by Christine Blasey-Ford and the other accusers were utter horse manure designed to keep Roe v. Wade the law of the land. Nothing more. And so the only question I have is this: Why haven’t these women—at least the ones who admit fabricating their stories—been prosecuted for lying to Congress?

The false allegations against Justice Kavanaugh must cease; so it’s time his accusers were punished with the same consequences as those of the crimes they allege. And yes, civil suits for defamation are most definitely in order. And yes, that includes against active presidential candidates, and even the Gray Lady herself.

*[UPDATED 9-16-19, 7:45 AM PT]: New York Times link added, which reflects the info they edited into their original article: “An earlier version of this article, which was adapted from a forthcoming book, did not include one element of the book’s account regarding an assertion by a Yale classmate that friends of Brett Kavanaugh pushed his penis into the hand of a female student at a drunken dorm party. The book reports that the female student declined to be interviewed and friends say that she does not recall the incident. That information has been added to the article.” Pretty important omission on their part.
