The outcome of the 2024 election is a source of terror for Michelle Obama. You see, if we the voters don’t vote the way she thinks we should, then all is lost. It’s terrifying, according to her, that Trump or someone NOT a Democrat will be elected.
“What’s going to happen in this next election? I’m terrified about what could possibly happen, because our leaders matter. Who we select, who speaks for us, who holds that bully pulpit, it affects us in ways sometimes I think people take for granted,” Obama told Jay Shetty on his podcast “On Purpose.”
Yes, it DOES matter who we elect to office whether on the local or national level. However, she and far too many others forget something. Those we elect are beholden to WE THE PEOPLE. No Michelle, we don’t elect those politicians to just go in and run the country however they want. Those politicians are to run the country on our behalf, not theirs.
Yet, far too many have done so, and we’ve allowed it. Yet Michelle (who couldn’t or maybe still can’t stand her husband) is here to tell us that, unless the votes go a certain way, the results will be terrifying. You see, she’s always taken the high road.
During the wide-ranging conversation, Shetty asked the former first lady about the phrase she famously uttered at the 2016 Democratic National Convention: “When they go low, we go high,” and how it’s evolved.
“If anything, what does still offend you?” the life coach and podcaster asked.
“Injustice, ego, greed,” Obama responded. “Racism, ignorance — it’s offensive. And I’ve always been that kid. I don’t like unfairness; I don’t like bullies. But I have to think about how I deliver messages.”
Yes, because she’s been so outstanding at delivering uplifting messages during her time in the public eye. Remember this?

That’s aged well. Furthermore, she states unironically that she doesn’t like injustice, greed, and egos. Has she MET the current occupant of the White House, Jill, and Hunter? They are the epitome of all three!
As for racism and ignorance, we’ve been seeing that play out on a national scale since 2020 and now with all the pro-Hamas terrorist sympathizers who are vandalizing cemeteries, shutting down roads, blockading airports, and terrorizing anyone who is Jewish. But she doesn’t like bullies. RIIIGHHHT. Tell me again who her source of terror is?
Also, racism? Let’s not forget her overtly subtle racism she embraced in her book – “Becoming.”
It’s well worth watching the entire podcast as there are multiple gems of “wisdom” that should be pushed back against.
Here’s another crucial gem she dropped during her lamentations of terror.
‘You know, the fact that people think that government, ehhh, you know, doesn’t really even do anything and I’m like, “oh my God, does government do everything for us,”‘ she continued. ‘And we cannot take this democracy for granted. And sometimes I worry that we do.’
That’s the problem right there. Our government is NOT in place to do everything for us. Nope, it is in place to operate as WE direct. Our Republic was set up with key limitations. Limitations that have, over the decades, been stretched, ignored, or stepped over. Leading to an unelected bureaucracy imposing rules and regulations upon us while Congress dithers and engages in snit fits and cat fights. We The People, per our Founders, should not have our government telling us what cars to drive, what appliances we can and cannot use, if we can own a gun or not, practice our own religion or not, and when or where we can or cannot speak. Michelle believes otherwise.
Michelle thinks the results of the 2024 Election will be a source of terror for her and many others. Especially since Donald Trump can be indicted lots of times and still run for office. That’s terrifying to her. Except indicted doesn’t mean convicted. However, Michelle is speaking to those who don’t or refuse to acknowledge the differences between the two.
Don't forget, it was the Obamas who decided to bring ole racist Joe along for the ride in 2008. Again in 2012.

The Obamas enjoy dropping in on breaks from their jet-set lifestyle and sojourns at Martha’s Vineyard to bestow pearls of wisdom upon the great unwashed. Yet they’ll never accept responsibility for their actions that have lead to a Joe Biden presidency with a weaponized DOJ, a non-existent border, the Department of Defense in a shambles, and a pudding-head in charge.
Michelle explains that American voters being allowed to CHOOSE whom they vote for is a source of terror to her. Well toots, that’s what our Constitution is in place for. You can like it or lump it.
