Chris Suprun: “Faithless” TX Electoral College Voter Never Was A 9/11 First Responder [VIDEO]

On December 5th, an electoral college voter from Texas wrote an op-ed in the New York Times that garnered quite a bit of attention. In that op-ed, Chris Suprun, the “faithless” elector as he is calling himself, not only wrote about why he won’t vote for Trump, he also wrote about his 9/11 experiences.

Fifteen years ago, as a firefighter, I was part of the response to the Sept. 11 attacks against our nation. That attack and this year’s election may seem unrelated, but for me the relationship becomes clearer every day.

I remember reading that op-ed and thinking at the time that the guy is an idiot, his reasoning is unsound and like it or not, he’s going to get nowhere with his little campaign. In the meantime, however, his stance has garnered him a lot of attention and some major interviews.

That’s some 15 minutes of fame there dude! Here’s the thing though. In many of the interviews he continually reiterates that he was a first responder on 9/11, and that he is currently working as a paramedic in Dallas. Unfortunately for Chris, via our good friends at This Ain’t Hell, there are some teeny tiny little Stolen Valor problems with his stories.

The Republican elector who has gotten national attention for refusing to vote for Donald Trump at the Electoral College on Dec. 19 was apparently not a first responder on September 11, 2001 as he has stated for years and has a questionable career history, according to an investigation by WFAA.

Uh oh… that’s not good!

In fact, its really not good. WFAA’s investigation uncovered the fact that Chris Suprun claimed to be with the Manassas VA fire department on 9/11 and fought fires at the Pentagon. Only one problem with that.

No, I was on a medic unit that day at the Pentagon and you make a phone call to Manassas Park and you find out that he wasn’t even employed there until October 2001,” said a first responder who knows Suprun and only agreed to speak about him if his identity was concealed.

The City of Manassas Park confirmed to WFAA that it hired Suprun on October 10, 2001, one month after the 9/11 attacks.

In other words, Suprun was NOWHERE NEAR the Pentagon that day! He wasn’t even an active duty firefighter when 9/11 happened! Not only that, but the Manassas Park fire department themselves weren’t even at the Pentagon that day. Talk about being hoist by your own petard! WOW.

Suprun has spent the last several years in bankruptcy. One paramedic company he claims to have worked for said ‘WHO’? when asked, and another paramedic company on his resume doesn’t even exist. However, none of that has stopped him from taking advantage of people’s good will. For example, he spoke to students at various schools and told his “story.”

And he threw out the first pitch at several Texas Rangers games

Wearing a uniform he hasn’t worn in years, getting to throw pitches out as a 9/11 responder during major league baseball games, and cashing in on publicity regarding the Electoral College brouhaha while using his supposed 9/11 first responder status as a hook to question Trump’s credibility. Good times!

Well, as we now know, Suprun’s credibility is totally shot and everything he has or will say is totally suspect. All because he claimed to be something he is not.

Texas electors meet on Monday. Oh to be a fly on the wall if Suprun dares to show up.
