Your Friendly Neighborhood Schneiderman

If you haven’t heard already, now-former New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman is the latest shitbag to be exposed as a predator and abuser of women, even as he was – until last night – hailed as a hero of the #metoo movement. The allegations are repugnant. Ronan Farrow, writing for the New Yorker, reported that two of the four women who came forward “allege that he repeatedly hit them, often after drinking, frequently in bed and never with their consent,” and they categorize the abuse as “assault.” “They did not report their allegations to the police at the time,” Farrow’s report continues, “but both say that they eventually sought medical attention after having been slapped hard across the ear and face, and also choked. Selvaratnam says that Schneiderman warned her he could have her followed and her phones tapped, and both say that he threatened to kill them if they broke up with him.”

Fox News has further, disgusting details.

“This is a man who has staked his entire career, his personal narrative, on being a champion for women publicly,” Tanya Selvaratnam, one of the women, said. “But he abuses them privately. He needs to be called out.”

[…]

Selvaratnam, who was born in Sri Lanka, said Schneiderman started calling her his “brown slave” and made her say that she was “his property.”

Now let me say, first and foremost, that I don’t know if these allegations are true. I haven’t seen the evidence, I haven’t spoken to any of the alleged victims, and I simply don’t have enough information to judge whether Schneiderman is guilty of these charges. If he is, I hope the cheap, creepy incarnation of Christian Gray in the horribly written mommy porn “50 Shades of Gray” series, a character who in my opinion should have sought psychiatric help, gets tossed into a dank cell and “befriends” a large, tattooed, angry neo-Nazi as his boyfriend and protector. (As an aside, I got about 10 pages into that “50 Shades” dreck and was forced to put it down for the sheer horribleness of the writing!)

But this post isn’t about whether or not Schneiderman is guilty. This post is about the fact that I believe he will skate away unaccountable for his actions if he is, because he’s the Democrats’ hero, who has taken on the Trump goliath! And since, Schneiderman is a good lefty, the liberals will, of course, defend him while telling his accusers to just shut up.

As a defense for his alleged actions, Schneiderman didn’t deny allegations that he slapped and choked women. Instead, he fell back to the “they wanted it” defense.

In a statement, Schneiderman said, “In the privacy of intimate relationships, I have engaged in role-playing and other consensual sexual activity. I have not assaulted anyone. I have never engaged in nonconsensual sex, which is a line I would not cross.”

Heyyyy! Isn’t that what the Weinstein team claimed last year?

“Mr. Weinstein has never at any time committed an act of sexual assault, and it is wrong and irresponsible to conflate claims of impolitic behavior or consensual sexual contact later regretted, with an untrue claim of criminal conduct. There is a wide canyon between mere allegation and truth, and we are confident that any sober calculation of the facts will prove no legal wrongdoing occurred. Nonetheless, to those offended by Mr. Weinstein’s behavior, he remains deeply apologetic.”

But because Schneiderman is a leftist hero who proudly and consistently supported the Planned Parenthood abortion enterprise, don’t expect the liberals to condemn him.

Besides, what woman wouldn’t want to be this creep’s “brown slave,” right? Because that’s so sexy! Apparently slapping and choking in the liberals’ world = role playing.

Please someone, hand me a barf bucket.

Matt Stevens at the New York Times, recounts in numerous words what a true “protector” of women Schneiderman has been over the years. While devoting just four sentences in three short paragraphs to the allegations against Schneidermann, Stevens spends numerous paragraphs talking about Schneiderman’s efforts to “defend” women. And by defend, I mean get the taxpayers to fund their birth control and sue people who protest outside Planned Parenthood clinics (which Stevens conveniently calls “health clinics” to fool the gullible into believing that somehow evil, bad conservatives want to deprive women of actual health care.

As a public interest lawyer, Mr. Schneiderman represented women seeking access to health clinics, sometimes suing protesters who he said harassed the women outside the clinics. Along the way, he expressed support for codifying the Roe v. Wade decision into state law.

What a hero.

Planned Parenthood, in the meantime, went full turnip against White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, whose simple tweet about Schneiderman must have chafed their tender labia.

Please note, they didn’t express their outrage at the allegations about Schneiderman’s abuse of at least four women, one of whom, after declining his advance, got slapped so hard across the face that the mark lingered until the next day!

No, instead, Planned Parenthood attacked Conway. Apparently attacking women is OK, as long as they oppose the liberal agenda, and so is assaulting women, as long as it’s their proglodyte, knuckle-dragging hero doing the assaulting.

Hear that, Kellyanne?

Planned Parenthood doesn’t care whether Schneiderman assaulted women or not. They only care about women when they tear live babies out of their wombs. Other than that, women are pretty much irrelevant – even when getting abused. Planned Parenthood cares about you calling that sack of shit out and want you to delete your account.

I’m sure you’ll get right on that.

Schneiderman, for his part, has denied all allegations (after he told the world that he was apparently a violent perv, but only with his partners’ consents), and has embarked on his mission to clear his name. The Manhattan District Attorney has launched an investigation into the allegations, but I wouldn’t expect much. This is the same guy who failed to prosecute Harvey Weinstein, while accepting a $10,000 donation from David Boies, an attorney who has represented Weinstein, in August 2015.

Maybe Schneiderman just needs to make a healthy donation to Cy Vance’s coffers, and he’ll be cleared of all charges.

Isn’t that the way Democrats work these days?
