Graham Platner is a sleaze with a history of abusive behavior. And now the NY Times knows it, but tried to paint lipstick on the pig. This time, there are several women who’ve gone on record to tell us what dating him was really like. Hint, it’s not pretty.
It took 22 paragraphs to be told how “unsettling” his behavior really was.
She said she recognized that Mr. Platner was struggling with the aftermath of his military service and thought she could help him. Ms. Fifield, who was navigating family challenges at the time, recalls that period as emotionally rocky for her, too.
Mr. Platner could be rough with her, Ms. Fifield said, particularly when they were drinking, leaving her shaken and sometimes afraid. In the interviews, Ms. Fifield grappled with how to process her experiences. She was quick to note that he “never hit me, he never punched me.”
But she said he regularly grabbed her by the shoulders — sometimes hard enough to leave marks — and, on one occasion, yanked her out of a cab by her wrist after an argument when she wanted to stay in the car.
During one argument, she recalled, he twisted her arm behind her back, shoved her into a bedroom and held the door closed from the other side so she couldn’t get out, telling her to remain there until she was “calm.” Eventually, Ms. Fifield said, she fell asleep and left the next morning.
“It hurt,” she said. But she added: “It didn’t cause an injury, it didn’t break my arm.”
Having a man forcibly yank you out of a vehicle, grab your arms or shoulders hard enough to leave bruises, and physically keep you imprisoned in a room is… an abuser. PERIOD.
If this were levied against a Republican candidate, every Democrat would call it what it is: assault. pic.twitter.com/AfkuBDHxFt

I feel very sorry for Lindsey Fifield that she is still, if she’s quoted accurately, excusing his behavior. One doesn’t have to actually inflict bruises or break bones to be considered an abuser. There are decades of cases showing that.
But here’s the NY Times talking about how Platner’s life was just…”messy” and former girlfriends (who wouldn’t go on the record) described him as “charming.”
According to Platner, all of his ex-girlfriends are still friends with him. Uh huh… I’m sure they’d be thrilled to find out how he describes women.
Who speaks like this? Abusive misogynist men.

That is an incredibly derogatory description about women. It’s a description that isn’t funny, it isn’t cute. It is crude and incredibly ugly. Then again, this is from a guy who bragged to Fifield about his “little Totenkopf” tattoo.
The Democrat candidate also boasted about having a Nazi tattoo, calling it “my Totenkopf,” one ex recalled — contradicting his October claim that he thought it was merely a “terrifying skull and crossbones.”
Which blows Platner’s narrative about ‘he didn’t know what the tattoo meant’ narrative completely out of the water. And further vindicates his former campaign chair, Genevieve McDonald. And, with this new information, will Platner’s wife Amy do another desperate video? Will Democrats such as Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders continue to go to bat for him because (D) and thus his behavior is excusable?
Michael Bennet is a Senator running for Colorado governor. Yet he’s shrilly on record defending Platner just this week. If it were a Republican candidate, they would’ve been off the campaign trail in a heartbeat.
Yet the Democrats are ignoring Platner threatening to rape anyone who breaks in, plus was flouting DC gun laws with his possession of an AR-15.

Political operatives are, once again, going to bat for Platner.
The same ideological contingent that demanded every university have a Star Chamber dedicated to bad-boyfriend prosecutions in 2015 is now asking, ‘Erm… So! He was a bad boyfriend? Why do you even care?’ https://t.co/Q8EaxEPgZq

Why yes, his behavior is excusable because he has/had a chance against Susan Collins. Do they even HEAR themselves?? Oh wait, they don’t. They live in such an echo chamber that all bad behavior is worth ignoring when there is a (D) behind their name.

There’s one Democrat who ISN’T ignoring Platner’s ugly record. Senator John Fetterman.
“This is a guy that had a problem with me, how I dress, but he seemed to have no problem posing in a towel at a disgusting website that consistently had serious problems about that kinds of depravity,” Fetterman told Fox News host Sean Hannity.

“Let me make a deal. I’ll tell P-Hustle, I’ll wear a suit every day, if he releases all those texts and messages that he’s had… [with] the dozen women,” he continued, referencing Platner’s username on the platform.
I’d pay a great deal of money to see that! Keep in mind, Platner is and has been on KiK. A platform that is well-known to be highly sexual in content and likely has underage girls on there. So questioning Platner’s record, and now the reports of his PHYSICAL abuse is very warranted.
GRAHAM PLATNER BOMBSHELL DETAILS
— Townhall.com (@townhallcom) June 4, 2026
– Knew tattoo was a Nazi symbol — called it "my Totenkopf"
– Unit picked SS death's-head on purpose: "they were killers"
– Joked about it being a Nazi tattoo while dating
– 3 exes: "toxic," demeaning, heavy drinking, cheating
– NYT story delayed… pic.twitter.com/hYAbb3HJE6
Yet the NY Times persisted in ignoring the realities of what Lindsey Fifield reported and went to work putting lipstick on an abusive pig.
"E. Jean Carroll and Christine Blasey Ford were credible and upstanding examples of female empowerment, but this perfectly lucid woman who has politics I disagree with is obviously a liar." https://t.co/xtIJ2aFYlb

And, what does Platner have to say in response?
“There are things in this [New York Times report] that I absolutely will take responsibility for and have been speaking about openly for months now, but those [latest] serious allegations are just not true.”

Oh… so his journey is one of transformation from a very gross guy to a lesser gross guy. Chris Hayes handed him the softball of softballs interview tonight. Platner was able to deny knowledge of the tattoo, which none of his unit has gone on record about, and be very dismissive of Lindsey Fifield.
I like the idea that he was, by his own admission, on a drunken PTSD-exacerbated blacking-out bender for much of his adulthood, but can definitively say this. Interesting. https://t.co/caZlbhdBnR

Platner is arrogant. The Democrats are propping him up and it will take a lot more than this for them to shove him out of the race.

“Platner is arrogant.”
No. He left arrogance way, way behind a few light years back.
As a resident of Colorado I say that Michael Bennet is a milquetoast.
As a Marine I say that Graham Platner is a POS. Yes, we had them in the Corps, just like everywhere else.
Full disclosure, I never deployed to combat. I also never fell into an “accidental” tattoo.
