Two weeks ago FICUS Biden punted the border crisis to the distaff side of the Biden-Harris administration. And while illegals continue to pour through the border, our Giggling Commie has be conspicuous by her absence.

Kamala Harris has still to visit the US-Mexico border or even hold a press conference about her new duties in the two weeks since being tasked with addressing the migrant crisis.

The Vice President spent Easter weekend at her Brentwood home in Southern California where she baked a ‘beautiful’ roast pork with rice and peas, but did not find time in her schedule to visit the nearby border.

In the past two weeks she has also visited Connecticut for a talk with the Boys and Girls Club of New Haven, traveled to Oakland to meet with Gavin Newsom to show support amid his potential recall election, and made a trip to a bakery in Chicago.

Not that the Democrats with by-lines seem to mind. After breathlessly covering how wonderfully she copes with roughing it at Blair House while all those icky blue-collar people are about and Kamala’s Let me eat German Chocolate cake turn in Chicago, there now comes the Oh come on, man stylings of Psaki in defense of the indefensible.

“And so while she was there, like many Americans, she got a snack,” she added. “I think she’s allowed to do that.”

Good job, Psaki. That explains everything! German Chocolate munchies is waaaaay more pressing than child trafficking!

Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol Chief Brian Hastings also shared the video with CNN “to underscore the concern over the danger associated with the increase in unaccompanied children” crossing into the U.S.

According to Hastings, “migrant families are ‘self-separating’ in Mexico, sending children alone to cross into the United States after first having been expelled,” the outlet reported.

No, nevermind, Kamala isn’t the person in charge you’re looking for.
