White House reporters have sounded off on President Trump’s media presence over our predecessor, Joe Biden’s presence over the years.
It goes without saying Trump has done more in his first week in office than Biden has, with the exception of possibly the amount of pudding cups he’s ingested (Biden has him beat here). But this is what reporters are saying about Trump after being “shielded” from Joe Biden:
Yes, Trump was eager to sign all those executive orders reversing Biden’s policies. But the bigger flex for Trump, 78, was to contrast his accessibility, aptitude and activity with his predecessor, who was so often shielded from public view by aides wary of showcasing the 82-year-old’s growing limitations.
As fast as the movers changed out the White House furniture, the country went from an invisible president, unable to command the spotlight, to an omnipresent one who wants the public’s attention at all times.
Although Biden did take questions from reporters here and there, his more informal exchanges with the press were sporadic and rarely lasted more than a few minutes. More often than not, he was out of view.”–Politico
And why, oh, why, do we think this is? Why did we have an invisible pResident the last four years who was unable to command the spotlight? Why was Joe Biden “out of view” and “inaccessible” most of the time?
Back to the cars, everyone. We know this old guy is inept and would probably screw things up royally if he opens his mouth, so, there will be a four-year moratorium on questions. And, indeed there was. But, it seems “reporters” are fearful of the welfare of Americans who are “depending on them” for “journalistic excellence” (COUGH). They are afraid that America will not be able to “digest” Trump.
Within the press corps, there is some ambivalence about Trump’s firehose on blast. The excitement about being able to ask the president about why he pardoned people convicted of vandalism, trespassing and violently attacking police officers, not to mention questions about everything from tariffs to TikTok, is tempered by the awareness that it is all, once again, too much. Too much to process and capture in real-time. Too much for the country to digest.”-Politico
Too much? Seriously, oh great reporters in our land, I think we can handle it. Well…most of us can, anyway. A few Americans have taken the opposite approach and have shared their epic meltdowns with anyone and everyone who will listen. Or, they have withdrawn altogether to hole themselves up in their protective homes with their virtue-signaling lawn signs. This entire first week was more truth than they have seen in years and, they cannot handle it. They will continue to believe the illegal criminals being shuttled out of our country are innocent families (take one look at ’em, they are not). They will continue to believe that killing an innocent human as a form of birth control and mutilating children is “care”. They will continue to believe that gender-questioning people in rainbow-farting unicorn outfits are an asset in combat.
Imagine reporters, with the same level of excitement, foaming at the mouth and asking Joe Biden why he pardoned his dirtbag son, or why he pardoned a puppy-torturing “Doctor” who helped unleash a pandemic on America that created a ripple-effect and a slew of other consequences. Imagine reporters asking Joe Biden why he pardoned a boot-licking Army General for one of the biggest military blunders of all time.
To say the “commoners” cannot “digest” such things is just elitist reporters talking in code. They cannot spin Trump’s actions fast enough. They cannot digest what is happening. Spinning an inaccessible former pResident like Joe Biden was easy. They grabbed any positive spin from thin air that they could, to include reports on Biden’s mental acuity while we watched as he pooped his pants in the company of dignitaries, yelled like an angry, bitter old man and flopped, both literally and figuratively on many occasions.
These numbskulls who “report the facts” have been so snow jobbed by career politicians and non-answers, they do not know what to make of the straight-talking, rough-around-the-edges and yes, sometimes downright brutal, New York boardroom tactics of Donald Trump. As a result, they think we can’t handle it. Trump is “hard to digest”.
What was “hard to digest” was the last four years, oh “journalists”, oh “seekers of truth”. Watching our country become weaker and more compromised by the day was enough to make one’s stomach turn. Watching our country revert back to racism disguised as “DEI” was nauseating. Watching young children question their identity and fall back several grades in reading and math was heartbreaking. Watching as nothing got done because federal and state workers were “working” from home and collecting a paycheck was mind-numbing. Watching as the incompetent fool stood up on the podium with his blank stare and you all call him “Steady“, “Unwavering“, “Competent” was nothing but vomit-inducing.
I thought Joe Biden was going to prove his doubters wrong at the big debate. I know that ever since that humiliation the whole world thinks the entire media was in on a massive coverup, but the fact is many of us (and seemingly many members of his team) genuinely thought the situation was better than it was.” –blogger Matt Yglesias
Um, no y’all didn’t. But keep trying to save face if it makes you feel better. The stark difference between Joe Biden and Donald Trump is like night and day. Daybreak has broken. Joy cometh in the morning. Time to send the press corps some TUMS. As for us? We feel fine.

The MSM long ago was taken over by Neo Marxist Leftists and became democrat party activists. Instead of being the watchdogs of democracy they became democrat activist attack dogs. Thus, they will hide stories, consistently attack effective conservatives, promulgate any democrat objective and paradigm (transgender, climate change), and continue to push Leftist ideology. This is a deadly phenomenon which starts in the leftist Journalist Classes in the Universities, is fed by a bubble, encouraged by weak squishes in the GOP, buttressed by the Entertainment industry. the so called MSM has lost all interest in objectivity with a few exceptions. In short, it is not just fake news but dangerous marring of ground truth on many critical issues. We need to add conservative outlets like Blaze, Newsmax to the White House Press Corps for a start.
A wonderful, delightful, must read!
” Too much to process and capture in real-time. Too much for the country to digest.”
So ordinary folk are still, to use Hillary’s term, deplorable and need the princes and princesses of the media to tell them what to think and do.
Much of it is also just the problem with actually having to WORK. The only ones who had to put in a full day in the previous regime were those working at Journolist. Everyone else could come in, read the latest “truth” from the teleprompter, or click a few words in a Word document and select “Thesaurus” from the menu.
Now they’re having to be Peter Doocy – without either the competence or work ethic to pull it off.
