President Trump kept his promise and he issued pardons to Americans imprisoned because of where they were and/or what they did or said on January 6.

President Trump issued pardons Monday night to hundreds of participants in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot — staying true to his promise to grant clemency to people involved in halting the counting of Electoral College votes that day.Trump, 78, signed what he said was “approximately 1,500” pardons after returning to the White House from a day of inaugural festivities, telling reporters present that “I hope they come out tonight.”

The newly sworn-in 47th president said he issued “six commutations” in addition to the pardons and declined to answer if any beneficiaries had assaulted police.

“I will say this, they’ve been in jail for a long time already. I see murderers in this country get two years, one year and maybe no time. So they’ve already been in jail for a long time. These people have been destroyed. What they’ve done to these people is outrageous,” Trump said.

Many of the J6 defendants were arrested and jailed for months if not YEARS before outrageous sentences were handed down. When I say years, I mean that there were some J6 defendants who were sentenced just this month. Many of whom only walked through the U.S. Capital that day and assaulted NO ONE. Yet there were many times when additional and highly unnecessary charges were tacked on apparently for no other reason other than the process and punishment. 

President Trump wants them out of jail ASAP.

The Democrats and media immediately started clutching all the pearls over these J6 pardons. CNN brought on a kid who turned his own father in.

Oh PULEASE, do you need a safe space with a fainting couch? And quite honestly, that kid should’ve had his butt paddled a long time ago. 

Meanwhile Jason keeps peddling for the Capital police.

Give it a rest Jason, your schtick was old by Day Three, and you conveniently leave out that Ashli Babbitt was killed BY a US Capital Police officer that afternoon.

Nancy can just take all the seats and chew on her dentures given her own role on January 6. You know how the media and Democrats always frame this? Everyone involved was an insurrectionist. Only one problem, see if you can spot it. 

Overall, more than 1,580 defendants have been charged and more than 1,270 convicted in the Capitol riot investigation, on charges ranging from misdemeanor parading to seditious conspiracy. More than 700 of 1,100 people sentenced so far have received no prison time or have completed their sentence, and they would receive limited immediate impact from a Trump pardon. But about 400 others remain incarcerated, serving sentences after admitting they committed the crimes they were charged with or being found guilty by a jury or judge.

Not one and I mean not ONE single J6’er was ever charged nor sentenced as an insurrectionist. Not a single one. 

But again, that isn’t stopping the Democrat establishment from whining and clutching pearls over the J6 pardons. 

Obscene. Grotesque.

Why does Adam always look like he’s sucking on a lemon? That said, he’s always wrong about everything including January 6. I’m waiting for him to start beating the Russia collusion drum again in 3,2,1… Especially now that he was handed that preemptive pardon from Joe. 

I’ve always had a problem with the J6 prosecutions. Why? Because of the judicial malice shown towards the defendants, when anyone and everyone involved in the DC riots during the 2017 inauguration, the 2020 George Floyd riots, Seattle, Portland, and the attempt to set fire to St. John’s Church were never prosecuted to any extent or at all compared to the J6’ers. The judicial malice was glaringly obvious. 

“What happened in Seattle where they took over a big portion of the city? What happened in Portland, where they burned out of the city every day and people died? Nothing happened to anybody, but they go after these people violently,” he said.

“It’s Washington, DC. People go into a trial and they say, ‘I have a wonderful lawyer, and I didn’t do anything wrong.’And they end up in shackles almost immediately and jail. No, we’re not going to let it happen.”

Keep in mind, there were nearly 500 cases still pending before the courts. What year is it? 2025. And yet the courts still had cases to hear. Yet, those who torched businesses and a police precinct during the George Floyd riots are walking around free. 

What many people fail to realize is that these pardons don’t mean that the J6’ers are now declared innocent. They aren’t. The pardons don’t wipe away the charges or convictions, only the consequences of such. And, it doesn’t give them back the years in jail before and after sentencing, and money lost trying to defend themselves in the courts.

But again, that doesn’t stop the Democrat media complex from clutching all the pearls. 

By pardoning the most violent January 6th attackers, Trump is telling them to commit more violence in his name, and if and when they do — he will protect them.

If there wasn’t judicial malice or misconduct, then no one at the DOJ should be concerned…right? 

What’s more illustrative over the outrage of Trump issuing J6 pardons is that same outrage is nowhere to be found when Joe pardoned most of the federal death row prisoners and gave clemency to a man who shot and killed two FBI agents at point blank range. 

So spare me your pearl clutching.
