Wearing a MAGA hat in public is akin to wearing a red flag in front of a bull to those oh-so-tolerant leftists, apparently. They just lose control and commit assault. Even on minors.
That’s what happened in San Antonio, Texas, where a 16 year old was out at a Whataburger with friends, and a total stranger decided to be a freak show… all because of his MAGA hat.
First reported by WOAI-TV in San Antonio, an NBC affiliate, the incident in the video apparently occurred Tuesday night at a Whataburger in the San Antonio area.
The teen, 16-year-old Hunter Richard, says he was simply eating with friends at a restaurant when someone got in his face. The man pulled Richard’s hat off with enough force that he took some of the boy’s hair with it, he told News 4’s Joe Galli.
News 4 interviewed Richard, who said he didn’t think the video would generate the amount of attention that it has.
So went out for a 2am snack and my friend (wearing a MAGA hat) had his hat stolen and a drink thrown in his face (and mine, you can see my arms on the left of the video) pic.twitter.com/B3QjBFIxPk

In the interview with local news, Hunter Richard said this:
“I support my President and if you don’t let’s have a conversation about it instead of ripping my hat off. I just think a conversation about politics is more productive for the entire whole rather than taking my hat and yelling subjective words to me.”
But some on the left are totally okay with a grown man stealing from and assaulting – because that’s what taking the hat off his head and throwing a drink in his face is – a teenager. Because, MAGA = Nazi or Klan symbols.
Wish I could take the high road. But your MAGA hat reads like a swastika to me. So ummm … hmmm. Yeah. Maybe I’m no longer a decent person. https://t.co/OWYodBRtxB

You’re not a decent person. But Professor Hill thinks you are funny. Or that assaulting teenagers is funny.

Might as well be wearing a KKK hood in public..

If this is seriously your reaction to this video, seek help. And the guy in the video? Well, he’s been identified and social justice karma has taken its course. As in, he’s been fired from his job as a bartender.
Not sure of when, but his name is apparently Kino Jimenez, he worked at a bar in San Antonio named Rumble. The bar has confirmed his firing via FBhttps://t.co/qBN3rn1R5Y

Whether you agree that he should have been fired from his job or not (since his job is serving the public and he’s clearly unhinged enough to commit theft and assault on a teenager in a public place, his actions had clearly become a liability to his employer), there are a few indisputable facts here:
1) Jimenez is the worst kind of bully, because he’s a grown man going after someone much younger than him.
2) Twitter is full of keyboard commandos who think this behavior is acceptable, and even condone it.
3) There is going to be no chance to regain any kind of civil footing in society when the “other side” is now being called “actual Nazis.”
Ivanka Trump with her kids in the economy section of an airplane (Trump and Kushner fly coach, just like regular people)
Sarah Sanders
Scott Pruitt
now this Kino guy.
I’m sure i’m missing many others.
But your MAGA hat reads like a swastika to me.
Looks to me like some young Nazi got treated like a Nazi.

Then you’re not only an a**hole, but profoundly ignorant as well. You are why shampoo has directions on it, and a symptom of all that is wrong with our public school system.
He probably picked on teens because it’s very unlikely they are packing heat (this is freakin’ Texas, man), or confident enough in their lives to simply punch him out.
This man committed several crimes – felonies and misdemeanors. He should not simply be fired, but prosecuted. (And banned from all Whataburgers forever.)
This goes along with the “crash their bbq’s” that one of the ladies here mentioned over the holiday. Understand, if you are in a state with a castle doctrine (with “curtilage”) and you enter someone’s backyard uninvited, they are allowed to simply shoot you and ask questions later. It’s not only legal (though there may be some hyperbole in my statement), but morally right.
The left is not going to like when we are reduced to “natural law”. Because “natural law” favors all the things the people with guns (us) support. (It is, after all, how our laws were initially built.)
Oh, and if I’m ever in San Antonio again, I’ll look up this “Rumble” joint and maybe buy a drink there.
Well stated GWB. Here in Colorado, if a jackass like that had tried something similar with my son (he isn’t 21, so he wouldn’t be carrying, though he is quite proficient), and he is a small kid, so he is occasionally targeted by similarly small minded individuals, that douche nozzle would have pulled back a bloody stump! (have i mentioned that my boy works on ranches, and in a tire shop, and also rides bulls??) yeah, I’d say that ass was lucky he survived the encounter intact, and should now face some time in the county lock-up at a min.
Time for us innocent bystanders to step in and stand up to these bullies. Especially so when they attack women, children and our elected representatives and appointees.
Yeah, a citizen’s arrest would have been very nice.
“Excuse me, sir. Would you like to give that hat back and apologize? Otherwise I’m going to have to arrest you for assault, civil disorder and petty theft.”
*said in a low voice* “Or I can just kick your ass and give the kid his hat back and we’re good all ’round.”
The twitter idiots are just that, no surprise, brave as hell while hiding behind their computers. As for the guy being fired, I really have no opinion… if he worked for me, he’d be fired, regardless of the fact that he was not working at the time, as we have a section in our employee handbook related to “conduct unbecoming”… No question his actions would run afoul of that. Other businesses may have different opinions, and that’s the great thing about our country, being a private business, they get to decide for themselves if that’s the kind of person they want working for them or not. Had Rumble made a different choice in the matter, then, as now, people who patronize the establishment also get to decide if that’s the kind of business they want to give their money to.
The big question in my mind, seeing as the “man” who committed the assault has been identified, and the assault itself was captured on video, I would hope that he has been arrested on appropriate charges.
Someone set up a GoFundMe account for Kino Jimenez (the bully) and his mom in the amount of $85,000. The description said that Kino’s “retaliatory” action was out of line and that he should apologize, and that he has been the subject of a “witch hunt” and had lost his job. No mention of what the teenager had allegedly done that required such “retaliation”, other than wearing a hat that offended him.
The GoFundMe account has been pulled.
I caught the end of a report on this on the news this morning, seems the jackass is now up on charges… good!
