The Big Gretch Movement

The Big Gretch Movement

I swear, sometimes I think I am watching a dark political comedy movie by Quintin Tarantino. Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s name is being rumored as one of the top picks should the Democrats replace Joe Biden on the ticket.

First, let me say that Joe isn’t going anywhere of his own volition. Because 1) he has no idea who or where he is right now, and 2) Jill is power-hungry, and the family won’t allow it. They need the puppet. The puppet is the answer to all their problems right now. Right Hunter?

Of course Jill and Hunter are “the loudest voices” telling Joe not to drop out! Jill has proven to be an abusive, controlling First Lady who is enjoying her role as Edith Wilson. Hunter, on the other hand, knows that if a Delaware jury is willing to convict him, then a California jury will likely be willing to find him guilty on tax charges as well – and there is no way “the smartest man” that Joe knows will spend a day in prison if the Old Man holds the pardon pen. Hunter needs “Pop” to stay in the Oval Office, and in the race, in order to make sure he gets pardoned (or his sentence commuted) when the trials are over. It’s telling that even ardent liberals think that listening to Hunter is a bad idea. – Deanna Fisher, Victory Girl

But there are some Democrats who still live in fantasy land.

For a while now, I’ve read online that Gretchen Whitmer is perhaps on the list of people Democrats would like to replace Joe Biden if the time comes. And she fits their agenda, that’s for sure.

And now we are also throwing Raphael Warnock’s name in there to be on some far-fetched ticket with Big Gretch? These people are delusional. Or desperate. Or both.

Do you remember the times of COVID and lockdowns? So, while I say far-fetched, I have to ask myself, is it? For some reason, I have to continually remind myself that the Democratic party lost its way when they propped up Barack Hussein Obama II as their candidate back in the day, not too long ago.

Big Gretch And COVID

So yes, Gretch Whitmer fits their power-hungry agenda.

Using unilateral control afforded governors for extraordinary emergencies, Whitmer imposed the broadest shutdowns on businesses in the country.

Some 32% of Michigan businesses, a higher portion than those in any other state, were subject to a government-mandated closure, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The national average was 19%. Far more businesses were closed in Michigan than in neighboring states of Indiana (15%), Wisconsin (17%) and Ohio (19.5%).

If shuttering businesses saved lives, one would expect Michigan to have a lower COVID-19 death rate than most states. It didn’t. – Michigan Capitol Confidential

The Washington Examiner reports that big-time lobbyist Chet Atkins sends thousands of emails telling donors to give to Gretchen Whitmer.

A recent blast email from Chet Atkins, a former House member from Massachusetts-turned-lobbyist, pushed for donors to send money to Whitmer’s campaign.

“How can you not love a Governor who is affectionately called ‘Big Gretch’ by Detroit rappers, a Governor who faced down a kidnap attempt, and passed gun safety legislation in response,” Atkins wrote in the email, adding that the election is going to hinge on Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania and that “no one knows and understands these voters the way she does.” – Washington Examiner

So, while that is not telling of Democrat’s fantasy-land wishes of wanting Gretchen to be chosen to replace Biden, it still puts her in the spotlight for media and political pundits. You know, just in case.

Governor Reverend Warnock plays a good part in terms of Joe Biden. Here is his reaction to the debate.

Maybe this isn’t all fantasy in Democrats’ minds. The people at Salon, the self-proclaimed in-depth reporting on politics, might be all too serious about Big Gretch replacing Joe Biden if not for that pesky electorate.

Stopping short of affirming whether or not Whitmer would be a more effective candidate than Biden, Burton says she’s “certainly got strengths that he doesn’t.” Among the strengths listed are her “disarming” sense of humor and her youth, in comparison to the other candidates.

“Unfortunately, the electorate makes up its mind on certain issues very, very early and on the questions of age with the president, you know, I think, I think most people have already made up their mind on that point,” he said. – Salon

Gretchen’s disarming sense of humor? Good heavens, no. You might want to ask the business owners in Michigan about Gretch’s sense of humor.

And as far as Gretchen’s youth advantage, right now, Dick Van Dyke has youth over old man Joe. So, I don’t think I’d be bragging about her youth compared to Joe Biden.

We can all return to the reality that the Democrats have no choice but to continue supporting Joe Biden as their candidate. Now is the time for Trump to turn up the heat. No mercy.

Michigan had the same “COVID death rate” as everywhere else…darned near zero.

I found a graph from the World Health Organization showing worldwide flu (real flu…influenza) deaths worldwide for the past ten years. Amazingly the graph dropped to zero (so close you couldn’t see the line) for the three years of 2020, 2021 and 2022. Gosh, it’s like the flu simply disappeared!

Stunningly enough the WHO no longer publishes that particular graph, and I can’t imagine why.

Whitmer would be a disastrous president for other reasons, primarily because she’s a collectivist, statist, authoritarian who has never met a law or regulation she didn’t like.

      A stereotypical Democrat then.

Oh, no, they lost it long before that.

who faced down a kidnap attempt
Hoo boy, you’re going to use that? /eyeroll/

she’s “certainly got strengths that he doesn’t.”
LOL. an 8yo has strengths Slow Joe doesn’t. That significantly broadens the aperture on who you could pick to replace him.

    her “disarming” sense of humor
Yes, her disarmament campaign is a joke, constitutionally speaking.

When they get all the names on the wheel and give it a spin or maybe 3 or 4 spins let us know who the lucky loser is.
