Stop Noticing!! Keith Ellison Runs Away From Fraud Questions

Stop noticing!! Keith Ellison is done with those pesky fraud questions. Any fraud in Minnesota has been dealt with and how dare anyone expect answers from Minnesota’s current Attorney General?

Astoundingly, some idiot on X in response to the above post is claiming that it is JD Vance who is weaponizing the DOJ and pursuing baseless investigations into the so-called Minnesota fraud. I rolled my eyes so hard I gave myself whiplash.

It has been well documented by us, and by many others, especially the guys at Powerline blog how extensive and pervasive the fraud in Minnesota is. We are talking BILLIONS in fraud on multiple levels. Daycares, food programs, health programs. 14 agencies at last count. And, contrary to Keith Ellisons assertions several months ago, it has been the DOJ who has brought not only the receipts but the convictions.

Ellison has been desperately running away from the topic. He doesn’t want questions as to why whistleblowers were targeted instead of listened to. He doesn’t plan to answer questions as to why no one was tracking the fraud on the state level.

When the reporter stated he had wanted Ellison to clear up the number and was citing a variety of reports, Ellison continued to question the claimed biases of his reporting.

“It’s wrong though. And if you’re a real reporter, you should know that,” he said, pointing to the Fox News Digital reporter.

The estimate has been widely cited by both the House Oversight Committee and First Assistant U.S. Attorney Joe Thompson, who have argued that potentially billions of dollars were lost to fraud in Minnesota’s public assistance programs.

Thompson said investigators have reason to believe that roughly half of the $18 billion paid through 14 Medicaid programs since 2018 could have been part of a major fraud scheme.

He for darned sure doesn’t want to answer questions as to why so many in the Somali community were involved in the fraud. That, of course, would mean he’d have to answer questions about one of the most prominent fraudsters in the state, Ilhan Omar. Whose net worth and that of her husband’s went from millions to… deeply in debt. In the space of two tax filings.

The husband of the Minnesota “Squad” firebrand — who once valued his venture capital and wine empire at up to $30 million — now claims to be pocketing as little as $200 a year.

The embattled socialist claimed hubby Tim Mynett made no income last year from his main business, Rose Lake Capital, according to her newly released 2025 financial disclosure report.

The only money Mynett — who has nearly two decades of experience in DC — earned last year is a meager $200 to $1,000 from his defunct California-based wine business eStCru, which sold bottles such as “The Devil’s Lie” before going belly up in April.

Omar claimed the total value of the couple’s assets was between $20,000 and $125,000 for 2025, and their credit card and student-loan debt hovered between $30,000 and $100,000 — putting their net worth at negative-$80,000-$95,000, according to the report.

There’s a boatload of red flags around Ilhan, her husband, and their business dealings. But don’t you dare ask Keith Ellison about any of that. He’ll run away as fast as he can while claiming ‘nothing to see here, move along!’

Bill Glahn at Powerline makes a great point. Keith Ellison and Tim Walz, among others are mad that the fraud is an issue and have managed to convince too many Minnesotans that we are bad for NOTICING the fraud and demanding consequences!

Keep in mind, Keith Ellison is on record nearly a year ago claiming he knew nothing about no fraud in his state. Which is absolutely ludicrous given that the FBI and DOJ weren’t keeping this a secret from anyone. And you know he was told in meetings about fraudsters arrests and why they were arrested. Furthermore, it strains belief to think that no one at the Attorney General’s office held any discussions about bringing cases forward!

But he still knows nothing and is angry that we are noticing the fraud.

Just last week, the news broke about “ghost students” who took millions in financial aid for community colleges across Minnesota.

“They enroll in college under a fake identity. Sometimes they might even show up online and pretend to engage for a period of time,” said Jennifer Kerber, a fraud expert at Socure. “They do whatever needs to be done to trigger the disbursement of financial aid, and then they disappear. So, the student never existed, but the money is real.”

The Minnesota State system identified more than 7,700 suspected “ghost students” during the 2024-2025 school year. The system, which includes 33 colleges and universities, recently received $3 million to help verify student identities and prevent fraud.

The Department of Education claims that “ghost students” in Minnesota cost taxpayers $12.5 million, but the Minnesota State system said it never sent money to the bogus students and removed them from its rolls.

Want to bet Keith’s mad that we are noticing THAT additional fraud?

Keith can run, but he certainly can’t hide.

Hopefully voters in Minnesota are finally paying attention and will vote against him in November.
