Stab Threats Cost Harvard Grad Her Dream Job

If you went on social media to say you would like to stab people you disagreed with, what could happen? Perhaps you might. . . oh, lose your job when your employer finds out. Gee, ya think? Yet a recent Harvard grad — you know, the product of one our most elite schools — did just that. As a result, she lost her new job. But does she feel sorry? Does she apologize?

Oh, hell no. In fact she blames Trump supporters for her woes. No, really, she does. Let that sink in.

Claira Janover from Connecticut took to TikTok (her first big mistake, considering that China uses TikTok to spy on people through their phones) to condemn people who insist that All Lives Matter. In her world, that’s only something that racist white people in their “sheer entitled Caucasity” would say, and she would like to stab them for saying that.

“I’ma stab you, and while you’re struggling and bleeding out, I’ma show you my paper cut and say, ‘My cut matters, too.’”

She deleted that TikTok video, but you know how the internet is forever. Someone scooped it up, so I can share it with you in all its malevolence.

Well, friends, that went viral. And the company that just hired her — Deloitte, a UK-based company — sacked her sorry ass for it.

So did Claira Janover apologize for her muses about stabbing people she doesn’t like? Did she go crawling hat-in-hand to the people at Deloitte, who maybe kinda thought it wouldn’t be a good look for them to employ a nut who wants to stab people?

Nope. In fact, Janover blames . . . you guessed it. Trump supporters.

But, she didn’t cry for long. In fact Janover went full defiance. She took to her favorite ChiCom app to blame those stupid conservatives and stupid Deloitte for failing to understand the brilliance of her analogy. And how dare Trump supporters send nasty, vulgar threats her way, because only the woke can menace people they don’t like.

But believe it or not, some conservatives felt sorry for her. Because that’s sort of the way they roll — a lot of them are religious and believe in forgiveness.

Like Eddie Zipperer, who hosts a conservative podcast and contributes to the Daily Caller. He offered some grace towards Claira Janover.

“I recognize that this is a wildly unpopular opinion but she just made a stupid analogy and doesn’t deserve to have her life ruined over it.”

Plus, Bethany Mandel, editor for Ricochet, tweeted this:

“This is shameful @Deloitte. I’m sick of companies throwing employees under the bus and to the wolves. Deloitte needs to hear that. Over and over. This pattern of firings people over dumb tweets etc needs to end.”

To be perfectly honest, I normally would agree with Mandel and Zipperer. Enough with the cancel culture, from both sides. I would not want to see a young person’s life ruined over something they did when they were young. Because which of us didn’t do stupid stuff when we were in our early 20’s? Anyone, anyone? Bueller, Bueller? Fortunately for my generation we didn’t have social media or even the internet on which to post our stupidity.

But Claira Janover is a whole other ball game. Because not only does she not apologize for her remarks, nor take responsibility for them, but she is consumed by hate. How can Deloitte expect her to be a team player at the office? Moreover, would Deloitte want her to be a representative of their business?

But, but, blubbers Janover, “they claim to stand against systematic bias, racism and unequal treatment.” Uh, not when it comes to their bottom line, sweetheart. Having an employee who wants to stab people might turn off clients.

And there’s one more ironic thing about this saga. Claira Janover appears to be Asian. But a sharp-eyed Parler user discovered this nugget.

Yep, Claira Janover was adopted by white people. She’s sort of like an Asian version of Colin Kaepernick, who also was adopted by white parents.

I guess they didn’t have the “sheer entitled Caucasity” that conservative white people have.

But you know the saddest part about all this? It’s that Janover will pay the price for the brainwashing she received at Harvard, if not during her previous schooling. She has learned to regard people with whom she doesn’t agree with contempt — in fact, she despises them. She thinks she’s better than they are, and that they shouldn’t be allowed to express their opinions.

Yes, Claira Janover is the one who will have to learn the repercussions of her actions — not the college professors who taught her to loathe America. Nor will the media who cheer on indoctrinated radicals like her. The question is — how long will it take for kids like her to learn that such actions often come with dire consequences?

Harvard grad says it all: Never met a Harvard grad who was in anyway in touch with the real world. And, yet they flaunt their degree as something superior. I would take a local Community College grad over a Harvard nerd any day !!

That’s unlikely to happen soon enough to turn this tidal wave of insanity we’re facing. But, just maybe, it will be soon enough to do her some good. (Or not.)

I sorta concur with Mandel and Zipperer. It was a really bad analogy, not an actual threat.
HOWEVER, it was NOT “satire”. And it was a perfect example of the “posting sh*t on the internet should have no discernible consequences for people like me with rightthink.”
ALSO losing her upcoming job with a company does NOT “ruin her life”. If that were true, I’ve had my life ruined several times over in the last 25 years.

Not a threat. Not as big a deal as some people make it out to be. But the company made a good call, and I do hope this woman learns from her experience.

She seemed a little too earnest in her threat-mongering. And no apology
for a shtty analogy is unforgivable.
Deloitte was between a rock and a hard place. If the company really thought she was a good
employee they might have found a way to keep her employed.
They made the right call and she gets a “life lesson” she can learn
    from while she’s still young.
Her poor parents and their darn “caucasity”. (Am I spelling that right?)

“When they say they want you dead, believe them.” It wasn’t an analogy. If she was a white girl, it would have been hate speech. I hope she grows from this but given her response to the backlash, I don’t hold out hope.

She has learned to regard people with whom she doesn’t agree with contempt — in fact, she despises them.

Kind of sympathetic to that viewpoint as I dislike people in general (Individuals I am fine with.). But I don’t feel the need to cue up my camera and do a rant like hers.

On a sheltered college campus – and they don’t get more sheltered than Harvard – stuff like this gets ignored if you are a leftist. But out in the real world people pay attention, and actions have permanent consequences.

And the issue isn’t “Trump supporters” causing her to get fired. It’s the reaction of decent human beings.

Hey, just had a quick question. Since I’m also adopted from China I “Appear Asian” too I assume. But no one would know that if they just saw me like in a grocery store for example. So what in fact are we if we are not Asian. I mean, just don’t want to spread lies about who I am. I need to know what the white people consider me to be so I can continue to spread correct information about myself based on white opinions. Thanks!!
