Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema is having none of it. Joe Biden and the Biden Administration has failed at every turn regarding the border crisis.

Title 42 expires on Thursday, and already the border towns, especially the El Paso and Brownsville, TX areas are over run with illegals. Biden’s solution? Send 1,500 National Guard troops to the border to perform administrative tasks so Border Patrol agents can handle the influx. That’s…not even getting the finger close to plugging one of the myriad holes in the dike!

Mayorkas, appearing Sunday on Face the Nation, flatly denied that the administration is not ready. He also dismissed complaints about a lack of information on how many migrants are expected, the processing times and transportation options.

“It’s going to take our plan a while to really take hold for people to understand that they can access lawful, safe, orderly pathways before they reach the border,” he said. “And quite frankly, if they come to the border, they will receive a consequence under our enforcement authorities.”

WHAT PLAN??!! Biden’s DHS has have over two YEARS to put plans in place. But now, suddenly there will be new processing centers?

He noted that Mexico last week agreed to to continue taking back Venezuelans who enter the US illegally after the restrictions end — along with Cubans, Haitians and Nicaraguans.

Mayorkas reaffirmed plans to open new migrant processing facilities in Central and South America and implement new policies that will allow officials to quickly expel asylum seekers who bypass them and pass through another country, like Mexico, on their way to the American border.

The new facilities could process up to 6,000 migrants a month at first, and eventually handle larger numbers of crowds applying asylum from violence, persecution and failed governments.

It’s taken two years to decide to set up processing centers in Central and South America? Wow, Kamala is really On. The. Ball. Then again, Mayorkas will go down in flames still insisting that there isn’t a crisis at the border. It’s all in our imagination. Tell that to the folks in the Arizona and Texas border towns. 

Keep in mind, Title 42 was enacted in March 2020 by President Trump. It was a public health measure to help keep people from bringing Covid and other diseases into the United States. Nearly three million people have been turned back due to this policy. However, now Title 42 as with Covid is now set to expire. And we have Mayorkas telling us he doesn’t know how many illegals are expected? Drone and video footage is evidently hard for him to find.

Oh wait, because it’s Fox News reporting this, it doesn’t fit the Biden narrative so the reality will be ignored.

Not only will Texas bear the brunt of this, so will Arizona. Senator Kyrsten Sinema has long been a critic of the Biden Administration’s lack of effort on securing our border. 

Oh, I’d say describing the Biden Administration’s border efforts as “inadequate” is giving them a pass. Especially when Sinema informs us that the Biden Administration is not only refusing to speak to her, they won’t speak to anyone asking questions about the border issues nor are they sharing any information.

Instead the Biden Administration is lying to our faces about the security of the border. Good ole KJP stood up in a White House Press briefing last week and informed the world that illegal immigration is down 90%. I’m honestly surprised and disappointed that the WH Press Corps didn’t laugh her out of the room. 

Senator Kyrsten Sinema is right. The Biden Administration has failed on the border crisis. The border towns are overrun, the Border Patrol and ICE are stretched incredibly thin in terms of people and resources, children are being put at risk across the nation, and we are seeing big spikes in disease and crime. 

Sinema is correct in that this is a problem that both the Democrats AND Republicans have ignored or kicked the can down the road for over twenty years. However, to ignore the reality now which is exponentially worse – especially when adding in the influx of fentanyl and terrorists, compared to all years prior is both arrogant and dangerous for us all. 

“So they don’t know that the mayor of Gila Bend has to put migrants in his car and drive them to Phoenix, because they are released in a town that has no bus stop,” Sinema said. “They don’t know what it’s like for migrants to sleep outside, in the farms in Yuma because there is nowhere for them to go. This is a crisis for our border communities and for migrants.”

The Biden Administration has paid lip service to the border crisis. Everyone involved has failed to step up or even show up. Instead, what we are seeing is funding for illegals to attend college on our dime, or for DACA recipients to become law enforcement officers regardless of their citizenship status. Is it any wonder why our borders are overrun?
