We reported yesterday about Pennsylvania Rep Brian Sims and his nearly 10 minute videoed harassment of a woman who was silently protesting outside of a Planned Parenthood clinic in Philadelphia. We also reported that he had gleefully done the same to teenagers AND offered a monetary reward to people who would dox them. Today, he apologized…to Planned Parenthood.

Yes, you read that correctly. Here’s the supposed apology.

First of all, look at what he wrote in the tweet. Is there an apology in there towards the teenagers he went after? I don’t see one. If any of our readers do, please show me where.

As for apologizing to the lady he ranted at for over 9 minutes? Was there an apology? We must’ve blinked and it zipped on by.

In the video ‘apology’ he said that he’s witnessed a lot of abuse towards staff and potential patients and doesn’t like it. Yet it’s ok for him to do the same? I don’t think so!

Here’s where his apology REALLY falls apart. 

““As a Planned Parenthood volunteer and as a supporter, I fully understand, respect, and appreciate the non-engagement policy that they have.” He continues, “And I would never want to do anything that interfered with the care that they are providing to their patients. As an activist and an advocate I know why pushing back against harassment and discrimination are a must even when they’re uncomfortable but last week I wasn’t a patient escort. I was a neighbor and a concerned citizen and I was aggressive.”

AGGRESSIVE??!! That’s a giant understatement! He essentially called for people to stalk and harass teenagers – MINORS. Which is against the law. He bullied a woman in public and gleefully posted video of the same.

Brian Sims has received a ginormous amount of pushback regarding HIS harassment and discrimination. So much so that Friday will be quite lively in his neighborhood since he conveniently lives across the street from that Planned Parenthood clinic.

Let’s organize a giant pro-life rally at the abortion clinic in Center City where @BrianSimsPA has been harassing children and elderly women. Let’s see him come out and harass all of us. Retweet this and let’s get it organized.

And guess what? 

“Within hours, Walsh’s suggestion for pro-lifers to band together and stand up to Sims took off; other prominent pro-lifers signed-on to the idea, including big-name advocates like Abby Johnson of “Unplanned” and Live Action founder Lila Rose, and Ashley Garecht, who, along with her two young daughters, was targeted by Sims outside the clinic.”

Advocates for life and babies are coming in from all over the country to peacefully protest on Friday.

In light of that, Brian Sims non-apology today leaves much to be desired.

Here is an elected official who throws temper tantrums about bullying. Here is an elected official who actually VIDEOS himself bullying people. When he gets dragged for his atrocious behavior does he apologize to those he bullied? NOPE.

Brian tells us he respects women’s rights. Evidently he only respects those who AREN’T protesting against the evil that is abortion and thus it’s ok for him to harass and bully THOSE women in public. The double standard is alive and well with him.

I’m sure the citizens of his district are oh-so-proud that they elected a jackass to represent them.
