Yes, you read that correctly. The Oscars have gone off the rails. A MAN, a biological man, was nominated for Best Actress.
After blazing a trail for LGBTQ representation throughout the 2025 awards season, Emilia Pérez actress Karla Sofía Gascón is making Oscars history as the first openly trans woman to receive a nomination in an acting category.
The 52-year-old Spanish performer scored her first Oscar nomination on Thursday morning for Best Actress, and secured a place in history in the process as no other openly trans woman has been nominated in the category — or any other acting category — across the Academy Awards’ 96-year history.
Gascon is a biological male. Period. Full Stop. There’s a reason why no one else has been nominated as a man in any of the actress categories before. Why? Because of biology.
The Oscar voters are evidently still all in on DEI and the transgender craze. Why else would they refuse to read the room and realize that huge swaths of America voted against this crap last November?
Far too many celebrities have transgender children these days. For that particular “in” crowd, having transgender kids is the new craze. They think it’s normal, when all of us rational Americans know that it isn’t.
Furthermore, the Oscars were supposed to be about winning on talent and merit. They weren’t about winning just because one checked that popular box. But here we are.
Just as with women and girls being subjugated to men trampling over them in women’s sports, we have talented actresses being sidelined in favor of men masquerading and parading around as women. Now the activists are pushing for gender-neutral categories.
Which, in my view, renders an Oscar award as nothing more than a participation trophy instead of being a recognition for work that hits it out of the park.
Now, a man has been nominated for Best Actress.

Quite frankly, I don’t care if Gascon’s acting was amazing, awesome, outstanding, etc etc. Should he win on Oscar night, it will be an insult to the work of every Best Actress winner from 1927 to today.
But they don’t care about that. Instead they care more about inclusivity over talent.
A2. General ensemble cast
At least 30% of all actors not submitted for Oscar consideration are from at least two underrepresented groups which may include:
• Women
• Racial or ethnic group
• LGBTQ+
• People with cognitive or physical disabilities, or who are deaf or hard of hearingA3. Main storyline/subject matter
The main storyline(s), theme or narrative of the film is centered on an underrepresented group(s).
• Women
• Racial or ethnic group
• LGBTQ+
• People with cognitive or physical disabilities, or who are deaf or hard of hearing
But, can they ACT?
Hollywood wonders why no one goes to the movies anymore. This is a major reason why. When the entire premise of a movie has to meet an agenda before filming even starts, is it any wonder that it tanks at the box office?
I can’t even wrap my head around ‘Emilia Pérez’ getting THIRTEEN (13!!!) #Oscars nominations.

Quite possibly the worst movie ever (mid-scores from audiences & critics) to get double digit nominations. Baffling. pic.twitter.com/xbIwQnUgSM
If Gascon loses, there will be cries of racism, bigotry, and more from the left. If Gascon wins, there will be loud cheers from everyone, including the women who lost. Furthermore, Gascon has a history of suing people who speak out against him to try and silence speech that HE decides is hateful, will he continue that pattern?
Accepting an award for best actress in Cannes last year, this man cries about how he suffers because of “hatred” and “denigration” of trans people. He says he expects to receive comments from “terrible people” saying “the same things as always.”

If the Oscar voters choose a man over women for Best Actress, they will have invalidated all that the Oscars used to stand for.
I wonder what Ricky Gervais would have to say about this nomination?

Gonna disagree with you just a little Nina. The mentally ill dude doesn’t need to win. Just the fact that HE was nominated invalidates what the Oscars used to stand for. Outside of the ambassadors that President Trump has put in place for Hollywod, that place is a shitshow with very few exceptions..
No surprise here…Hollywood is all about MAKE BELIEVE!!!!
Maybe he should lay off the estrogen. It’s making him unstable.
