Obama decided to issue a statement on Israel and Hamas. He not only OTHERED Israel, he spun a brilliant “both sides” lecture. It starts thusly:

It’s been 17 days since Hamas launched its horrific attack against Israel, killing over 1,400 Israeli citizens, including defenseless women, children and the elderly. In the aftermath of such unspeakable brutality, the U.S. government and the American people have shared in the grief of families, prayed for the return of loved ones, and rightly declared solidarity with the Israeli people.

He then tells us that Israel has no right to defend themselves. Keep in mind, this attack by Hamas and the subsequent looting by other Gaza cretins took place over a 48 hour time-span before Israel IDF soldiers could kill, capture, or drive them back to Gaza. Yet, instead of condemning Hamas for their horrific terrorist attack, antisemitism crawled from under its rock and has become front and center these last two weeks. 

It was the media, politicians and The Squad in particular, along with colleges and their “woke” students who have continued to call into question the veracity of Israelis being slaughtered, a Holocaust survivor along with 200 others captured, and children beheaded.

‘It’s not true!’ they cried. We need to provide aid and comfort to Hamas because Israel has kept them enslaved! Which is a total load of horseshit. 

Now, Obama decided to pen a lecture. And “both sides” his way through it.

The third paragraph was dripping with arrogance. 

But even as we support Israel, we should also be clear that how Israel prosecutes this fight against Hamas matters. In particular, it matters — as President Biden has repeatedly emphasized — that Israel’s military strategy abides by international law, including those laws that seek to avoid, to every extent possible, the death or suffering of civilian populations. Upholding these values is important for its own sake — because it is morally just and reflects our belief in the inherent value of every human life. Upholding these values is also vital for building alliances and shaping international opinion — all of which are critical for Israel’s long-term security.

Let’s just stop right there President Selfie. HAMAS attacked. HAMAS tied people (women and children among them) together and then burned them. HAMAS beheaded children. HAMAS broke ALL the international laws. And yet, you are daring to lecture Israel on how THEY should adhere to international laws?? You arrogant ass. 

Journalists had to be coerced into a meeting where Israel showed them the raw footage that Hamas terrorists filmed of their killing fields. And yet, many still won’t report on the atrocities committed. 

“It’s things a person doesn’t do – beheading people, having sex with dead bodies, meaning the body of a dead, young woman,” the terrorists said in the video published by Kan, Israel’s public broadcaster. “It’s not humans that do that.”

Although the Hamas operative said he knew Islam forbids the killing of women, children and seniors, he explained that he and others were told to ignore that and enter every Israeli home they could with the intent to shoot “anyone who was in the house.”

“In the mosques, they tell us to take mercy on women and children. In the army [Hamas] they tell us to kill, massacre them everywhere,” he said.

And so, they did. Horrifically. The evil displayed by Hamas is on par with the evil inflicted upon the Jews by Adolph Hitler. And yet, we have Barack Obama telling Israel they need to stand down. They need to act proportionally, save Gaza citizens, and don’t hate Muslims.

KJP and all the rest of the Gaza/Hamas apologists can go pound sand. Obama sits there and lectures ISRAEL on how they need to be measured in their response and make sure no Gaza civilians are hurt. When instead, if he was man enough, he’d say what Senator Katie Britt said yesterday.

I completely agree. We cannot and we must not make excuses for the evil that Hamas inflicted, instead we must confront it and drive it from the earth.

That’s not what Obama wants. Instead of confronting evil, he is all about appeasement for “both sides” so that terrorism wins. He even recommended some reading materials so we might understand this very serious situation.

Recommending reading from Ben Rhodes who was the architect and author of the Iran Deal? I think not.

As you read through his full statement, what is missing (as it always has been) is any genuine concern for the victims and their families, nor does he even mention them. Instead he whines about the Palestinians (many whom gleefully joined in on the attack) and how their children may starve to death because Israel cut off their water and electricity.

This from the man who issued Gumby style red line warnings to Syria and sent pallets of cash to Iran. The hubris oozing from this shadow president is astounding.

Obama “both sides” this atrocity in order to get Israel to stand down. Israel should totally ignore President Selfie’s lecture and do what they need to do to destroy the evil that killed their people.
