Joe Biden is being smacked upside the head with his past creepy, frequently photographed behavior. If he wanted to, former president Barack Obama could save Biden’s reputation and stop it all.

So far, Obama is leaving Biden to twist in the wind, as he remains absolutely silent.

Which leaves Biden to make videos like this.

So, where is the Chosen One, Barack Obama, who surely would not leave his buddy, his former VP, without a friend in this moment where the young hard left is circling the old guard Democrats and forcing them to play by the rules they foolishly backed?

However, Obama hasn’t been quoted in any reports or tweeted any expressions of support for Biden, with whom he was close during his eight years in office and to whom he bestowed the Presidential Medal of Freedom.”

Biden released a video Wednesday pledging to be more “mindful and respectful of people’s personal space,” following several women expressing discomfort over his physical contact with them in prior interactions. The hits against the 76-year-old, who is considering running for president, are raising concerns about his political viability, although he continues to lead Democratic polls and remains highly popular in the party.”

Biden was well-known for his tactile style as vice president, such as in this compilation video of him hugging and kissing women and even pressing his face against theirs while swearing in a new class of senators.”

Obama saluted Biden as a “brother” in his farewell address.”

“You were the first decision I made as a nominee, and it was the best,” Obama said. “Not just because you have been a great Vice President, but because in the bargain I gained a brother. And we love you and Jill like family, and your friendship has been one of the great joys of our lives.”

So much for the “brotherhood” of the Obama years, right?

Now, many of the old guard Democrats have tried to defend Biden, but none of them have the clout within the Democrat party that Obama still carries. Even though it’s become increasingly clear that the new, socialist, anti-Semitic crowd in charge (and yes, they are in charge) really don’t give a single care about the Obama legacy, his words would bring plenty of weight within a sympathetic press to carry Biden on a wave of nostalgia, to the point where he would declare his presidential run.

Or – and as time passes and the hits keep coming – Obama is leaving Biden to fend for himself because he would rather see a harder left candidate get the nomination, and recognizes that ol’ handsy Joe’s moment has long since passed him by.

Maybe Senator John Kennedy is more correct than he realizes.

The rules are evolving so quickly that Biden is having to “explain” himself for behaviors that were openly photographed for decades, and the right mocked and meme’d for a significant part of his vice-presidential career. How very typical that the left never stopped to consider that they would be forced to play by these new rules.
