President Obama has been enjoying his royal holiday in England. First it was a birthday lunch with Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, complete with a tour of a very special room at Windsor Castle.

Then it will be on to dinner at Kensington Palace with Prince William, Kate, and Prince Harry. Fun times!
However, he did have to conduct SOME business while in town, hence his jaunt to 10 Downing Street to meet with Prime Minister David Cameron.
Among the many topics of discussion was the upcoming Brexit vote that will determine if Britain stays in the EU or not. Cameron would like Britain to stay and in fact, so would Obama. So much so that he wrote an op-ed in the Telegraph urging the British to vote to stay in the EU.
As citizens of the United Kingdom take stock of their relationship with the EU, you should be proud that the EU has helped spread British values and practices – democracy, the rule of law, open markets – across the continent and to its periphery. The European Union doesn’t moderate British influence – it magnifies it. A strong Europe is not a threat to Britain’s global leadership; it enhances Britain’s global leadership. The United States sees how your powerful voice in Europe ensures that Europe takes a strong stance in the world, and keeps the EU open, outward looking, and closely linked to its allies on the other side of the Atlantic. So the US and the world need your outsized influence to continue – including within Europe.
Sounds nice doesn’t it? Well, many in Britain didn’t think much of his little missive. Particularly those who want England to exit the EU.
Obama’s Brexit overreach is typical of his arrogance, says Tim Montgomerie @montie https://t.co/lHWvNkq9Nl pic.twitter.com/hFsBFrCMo7

He’s not the only one.
Former Cabinet Minister Iain Duncan Smith last night accused the US of rank hypocrisy. He said President Obama would never accept free movement from Mexico or Canada or a loss of sovereignty.
He blasted: “What I do find strange is that he is asking the British people to accept a situation that he patently would not recommend to the American population.”
Others were not thrilled with Obama invoking the US/British World War II alliance and comparing that alliance to the upcoming vote. No matter, the criticism didn’t stop Obama from continuing his efforts to push the Brexit vote into a decision for the EU.
In fact, Obama basically threatened Britain during the press conference held with Prime Minister Cameron.

Did you catch that? If England doesn’t vote in favor of staying in the European Union, then they will be sent to the ‘back of the queue’ concerning any future trade deals. But that’s ok you see, he’s just there to offer his opinion rather than “fix any votes.” WOW. Arrogant much? Way to win friends there buddy!

I've never felt a scintilla of anti-USA sentiment until today. Bugger off, Obama #ObamaInUK https://t.co/OgAjteu6Po

Obama has insulted Britain once again by saying the UK would be "at the back of the queue" of US trade relations. Special relationship?

WHOA! Obama threatens a sovereign nation, one of our closest allies, over a decision that is none of our business. https://t.co/nMto6r5Hvd

Exactly. What will be next? Having Prime Minister Cameron write op-eds in US media urging Americans to vote for Obama’s chosen candidate or else? Obama has effectively muddled the issue, slammed a long-standing ally, and angered many by sticking his oar in where its not wanted. He and Prime Minister Cameron will have only themselves to blame if the British vote to exit the European Union.
