Nice, Munich, Ansbach, Wurzbur, Reutlingen, Garde-Columbe. What do they all have in common? Every single one of those killed or injured is a victim of a terrorist attack. Every. Single. One. And now, we must add another horrific attack to the list.
Two men claiming allegiance to Islamic State killed a priest and gravely injured another person Tuesday during morning Mass at a church in a northern French town, authorities said, the latest in a string of attacks that have shocked Western Europe over the last two weeks.
84 year old Father Jaques Hamel, who’d been retired for a decade, was filling in for one of the other priests who was on holiday.
A nun was able to escape and notify the authorities.
The woman, who wished to remain anonymous when talking to Le Figaro, said: ‘They came suddenly. They took space. They spoke Arabic. I saw a knife.
‘I left when they began to attack the father Jacques. I do not even know if they realized that I was leaving.’
It is likely the other hostages would’ve been killed if it weren’t for her quick thinking and the rapid response of the French anti-terrorist police. Another nun reports horrific additional details of the attack.
From one of the nuns who escaped #Normandy church, jihadists "forced Father Jacques to kneel, then slit his throat, & filmed entire thing"

So who did this? Was it another disgruntled teen as is being claimed in Munich? No. Its ISIS, and they are happily claiming responsibility.
That’s not all. The terrorists directly responsible for the attack have an interesting history.
One of the terrorists, a 19-year-old Frenchman who lived close to the church, is said to have left for Syria in 2015 to try and join Islamic State, but he was arrested.
He was jailed for terrorist offences following a short trial in France, before being released on March 2 this year.
The Tribune de Geneve reports he tried travelling to Syria via Turkey, but was kicked out of the country and arrested at Geneva airport on May 14 last year.
It was the second time he tried to reach Syria, the first time via Munich unsuccessfully, before he tried through Switzerland.
He was jailed for a few days in in the prison of Champ-Dollon before being extradited to France and convicted of conspiracy to prepare acts of terrorism.
His conditions included returning to live with his parents, wearing an electronic tag, and reporting to his local police station.
Even worse, he was allowed to roam free during the day WITHOUT any supervision! Which likely meant his cell phone and online communications, nor his direct communications with anyone during the day weren’t monitored either. All conditions which made it easier for him and his terrorist buddy to plan this horrific attack. We can only hope and pray the filming of Father Hamel’s murder wasn’t uploaded to those heinous terrorists.
Understandably, France is and has been on edge these last two weeks.
Understandably, many French citizens and those in the government are now calling for major reforms and a significant overhaul of their intelligence services and handling of identified terrorist sympathizers. President Francois Holland is calling this latest an act of terror. Thus far, the only reaction from the U.S. is this statement.

Wonder how many mentions, lip service if you will, will show up today or tonight? Its anyone’s guess.
In the meantime the lovely town of St Étienne-du-Rouvray is in shock. Father Jacques Hamel was well-known and highly regarded by all.
“This man was a good man,”
Let us remember Father Hamel’s faith and his decades of service to his parishioners. But let us never forget that terrorism is real, it is here, and it must be stopped.
Will this finally break the restraint? Will this finally loose the fury of the people?
What will finally get us to set aside the constraints of our supposed civilization, and finally destroy this ongoing threat to our very existence?
Exactly. Honestly, if it were me – Paris last fall would’ve been and SHOULD’VE been the very last straw. Its mind-boggling that it wasn’t for France or for anyone else!
Because Multi-Culturalism is their god’s command. It is the virtue above all others that must be maintained. Without it, their god of Progressivism falls as Baal fell before the Ark.
(Sorry, that was Dagon.)
An absolute outrage. These monsters must be stopped. Europe/the civilised world should take a leaf out of the Israeli’s books. Once the perpetrators are identified their families homes should be demolished. The perpetrators themselves, should they survive, should suffer slow painful demise, much like their means of killing.
