New York Vs. Trump – The Salacious Stormy Chronicles

As I type this post, the courtroom of Judge Juan Merchan is in lunch recess in the NY vs. Donald Trump trial. Stormy Daniels testimony will continue after lunch. Rather than lunch, everyone in that courtroom should take a shower and use Listerine to disinfect their mouths. Maybe get a tub of eye bleach too. There is only one reason Stormy is in that courtroom and that is to provide salacious details to embarrass Donald Trump and prejudice the disgusted jurors. The only thing the public can hope for is that the jurors are smart and disgusted, but let’s not get our hopes up to high.

Before we discuss Miss Stormy, Judge Juan Merchan informed President Trump that the trial will last another two weeks!

The unprecedented criminal trial of former President Trump resumes Tuesday morning after the 2024 presumptive Republican presidential nominee was again held in contempt of court, fined, threatened with jail time for future gag order violations, and told he’ll be required to sit in the Manhattan courtroom for at least another two weeks.

Trump has pleaded not guilty to 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree. The charges stem from a years-long investigation by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.

The charges are related to alleged payments made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels about an alleged 2006 extramarital affair with Trump before the 2016 presidential election.

Holy Monkey Noodles, Batman. Can you say stretching it? Ugh!

In this video, Jose Diaz-Balart goes “video frame by frame” in his discussions with David Markus and Katie Phang. Remember that this is just for the juicy bits to titillate the jurors and journalists. Stormy knows nothing about the journal entries for bookkeeping:

Donald Trump in “silk or satin pajamas”? And Stormy gigs him about stealing Hugh Hefner’s pj’s? This is like something junior high boys would read.

Eeeuwww!

Miss Stormy seems very in charge:

Stormy Daniels said she saw Trump the next day at the bar in the lobby of the hotel.

“He introduced me as his little friend Stormy to ‘Big Ben’ the football player,” she said, referring to Ben Roethlisberger, then the star quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Daniels added that she talked Roethlisberger into letting her try on his Super Bowl ring.

Trump left and had Roethlisberger walk Daniels back to her room after the group spent about 10 minutes together, she said.

Daniels has previously detailed the episode with Roethlisberger, saying he walked her up to her room after about 15 to 20 more minutes in the hotel lobby. Daniels wrote in a book that Roethlisberger requested a “good night kiss,” which she denied, saying he then lightly pushed her hotel room door. She said she was “terrified” by the situation.

Riiiiight. More

Daniels said that Trump asked to see her again at the Trump Vodka launch in January 2007, but she testified that she lied to him.

She testified that when she went to Trump Tower later in 2007, he again tried to get her to see him again. She testified he said he missed her.

Not buying any of this hippo poop.

Her testimony has nothing to do with classifying a busness account. Shouldn’t we be having accounting experts on the witness stand?

    • SFC D says:

We would be, if this was actually about business and legal expenses. This clownshow is not about truth or justice, it’s only about “Orange Man Bad!”

  • A reader says:

First of all, this is totally predictable. It makes perfect sense that a ride or die Trump fan and dare I argue cult member would go out of her way to defend Trump.

You do realize that the current witnesses have been prosecution witnesses, right? As in Trump’s team has the right to call witnesses once the prosecution rests and to argue a defense? Or have you seriously never even watched a legal drama? (Not that legal dramas are like real trials, just that you’d at least have an idea of how things should go.) So the two weeks— this includes any days off— will be any final prosecution witnesses, the defense witnesses and arguments and the closing arguments. This trial is actually moving pretty quickly all things considered. I mean a criminal trial is highly unlikely to be resolved in say, an hour, like on TV, but this has been pretty tight.

As for your insinuation that a guilty verdict is baked in, you do realize that Trump’s team helped pick the jury, right? So they got to question them and try to find people they thought would be more favorable toward the defense. Now, you can argue that’s hard in Manhattan but the jury pool was pulled from more conservative areas outside of Manhattan as well where there could be Republicans. As I recall, one juror even stated they get their news from more conservative sources.

I’m not sure why Stormy was called either, but the prosecution obviously thought it was necessary, possibly to stave off one argument that Trump had never met her. There are photos, written evidence, etc., that show that he did. You can close your eyes all you want but they’re there.

This reads like a cult member refusing to see reality or accept that her leader can do no wrong. The law should apply to everyone regardless of their status or political affiliation, otherwise we might as well just toss everything and go back to having kings who are above the law. Trump can appeal if he wants as is his right. Hopefully the jurors are taking their job seriously and going to truly rule fairly, however it turns out so the case isn’t tossed out on appeal. Merchaun himself was even questioning the line of questions from the prosecution and doing what he can to avoid a mistrial. Those are costly and a bad look so hopefully he’s successful.

    • Scott says:

So based on your comments, I assume you support bringing Hillary and Biden to trial as well reader? Since you did say that noone is above the law??

    • SFC D says:

“(Not that legal dramas are like real trials, just that you’d at least have an idea of how things should go.)”

This is not like real trials either. There’s no crime here. Not a single prosecution witness has testified to support the allegations. This is not a prosecution, it’s political persecution by an activist DA and judge attempting to sway an election and keep Trump out of office.

The law should apply to everyone

As Scott pointed out, you will change your tune if it’s a Democrat. Before you call anyone here a cult member, I suggest you stop your chanting.
