The Democrats are on a roll. Not satisfied with the Mueller Report’s finding of no collusion, they immediately switched to obstruction and are now on a subpoena spree. Democrats want to get their hands on anything and everything of Trump’s that they can, whether it is relevant or not. The Trump administration isn’t playing their game. Which has the media telling us, there’s obstruction in there somewhere!

All told, House Democrats say the Trump administration has failed to respond to or comply with at least 79 requests for documents or other information.”

Seventy nine requests? What kind of “requests” are we talking about?

• Grand jury information that, by law, cannot be disclosed to anyone at any level
• Confidential discussions between the President and foreign leaders
• Demanding information from Trump’s personal accounting firm
• Trump tax returns

Then there is the issue of Don McGahn, Trump’s former White House counsel.

The Democrats and media (same thing really) desperately want Trump gone. It doesn’t matter what he does whether positive or negative, Trump will always be bad because he had the temerity to

A. Knock Hillary off her pedestal in November 2016

B. Not play by the established Dem/media political rules

Hence the ‘subpoena til we get him!’ game from the Democrats. Throw anything and everything at the wall and eventually something will stick seems to be their motto.

When Republican Senator Richard Burr subpoenaed Donald Trump Jr to testify, a lot of Trump supporters threw a fit. Don Jr. is balking at the subpoena. Should he? Is the Senate Intelligence committee as crazed with Trump hatred as the House Intelligence committee? In my opinion, I don’t think so. Keep in mind the House Intelligence committee is run by Adam Schiff, a man whose TDS has sent him way over the edge. A man who sees things that aren’t there because Trump.

Is the Senate committee as crazed? No. Burr’s committee had made it clear that if other questions or discrepancies  came up, witnesses could be called back to testify. The committee isn’t going after collusion or obstruction. The committee is looking at Russian election interference. In light of that and Trey Gowdy’s explainer here, I’m of the mind that Don Jr should reconsider and testify.

With the Democrats playing the subpoena game, the media is helping them ignore one of the bigger elephants in the room. FISA warrants and the Christopher Steele Dossier.

The defense is that the dossier was ‘raw intelligence’ thus it was only a small cog in the greater wheel of Trump Russia collusion.

If it was that small of a cog, why the mad scramble to make it seem like it was nothing? If it was such a small cog, why was it used as a key argument for FISA warrants? If is was such a small cog, then why did William Barr say this last week?

“In Senate testimony last Wednesday, Attorney General William Barr said he is concerned that the dossier is the product of Russian disinformation.”

Never mind that guys. Don’t worry about that Steele Dossier thing. Trump did something wrong somewhere somehow! He obstructed things! We know he did and we know that Mueller and Barr covering for him!

Seriously, that is the Democrat/media logic. Logic that is baffling to many who are and aren’t Trump supporters. Baffling and infuriating to Trump himself.

Supposedly we are to accept the sweeping number of requests and subpoenas as ‘legitimate oversight functions’ of Congress. Congressional Democrats are acting in ‘good faith’ on behalf of the American people and are telling us the Constitution has been compromised because Trump and his administration won’t comply.

The media has decided that obstruction is everywhere. Even when it isn’t. And they wonder why they are called Fake News.
