Lisa Page Wants A Payout For Her Affair

While she was a lawyer at the FBI, Lisa Page had an affair with a colleague. Now she wants money from American taxpayers for her indiscretions.

During that affair, Lisa Page and her lover Peter Strzok were involved in the “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation of Donald Trump. They spent company time and materials on this at best badly-managed investigation, where they spit their venom at Trump all over FBI-owned phones while conducting their own affair, and NOW Lisa Page is suffering and needs your money and mine.

In the complaint filed Tuesday, the 39-year-old Page said she suffered numerous damages because of the disclosure, including a “permanent loss of earning capacity due to reputational damage” and “the cost of therapy to cope with unwanted national media exposure and harassment” at the hands of President Trump.”

Page’s complaint also sought reimbursement for “the cost of childcare during and transportation to multiple investigative reviews and appearances before Congress,” the “cost of paying a data-privacy service to protect her personal information,” and attorney’s fees.”

On Dec. 12, 2017, Page said in the complaint, “DOJ and/or FBI officials disclosed” her sensitive text messages “directly to a select group of reporters to ensure they would become public.” Page alleged that after discovery, she would be able to prove that senior officials knew they were violating the law, and that their conduct was “willful and intentional.”

Let’s get this straight. Lisa Page and Peter Strzok, who were work colleagues having an extramarital affair, conducted said personal affair on their GOVERNMENT-ISSUED PHONES. A phone OWNED by the FBI. How on earth does Lisa Page, as a supposedly educated government lawyer, think that she has any kind of expectation of privacy here?

We’ve already seen Page’s hubris in her fawning profile by Molly Jong-Fast about how her feelings are hurt every time Donald Trump brings her up in a speech or on Twitter (so, so, SO HURT that she had to join Twitter herself just to keep track of how many times she needed to mark off her victimhood for her lawsuit). Now she’s taking it to a whole new level, demanding money because she got outed for an extramarital affair at work. And when you sue a government agency, that’s TAXPAYER money you are wanting. That’s your money and my money that Lisa Page wants to cover her “loss of earning capacity” and “cost of therapy” and “cost of childcare.”

Wow, it’s like she never even considered what having an extramarital affair at work might do to her personal reputation or to her children. Well, hell no, I’m not the one paying for your therapy, lady, or for your babysitters. THIS is the bed you made for yourself. Not so comfortable, is it?

This is standard operating procedure at any job, much less a government one. If you are using work servers and work phones for communication, then nothing that you communicate is private. You have zero expectation of privacy. Why does Lisa Page think she is special? Is it because she trusted the FBI to not publicly embarass her, after assuring her that the affair was not the target of their investigation and wouldn’t be released? Hello, FOIA! You put it on a government-issued device, and it isn’t considered “secret” or “classified” information, then it is fair game for anyone to request from the government agency! If you are dumb enough to have an extramarital affair and put the evidence of such on your work-issued device, using work-communication channels, then you, quite frankly, are hosed. And that’s not even getting into the fact that Peter Strzok’s wife was able to get into HIS phone and discover the affair! Strzok left his phone unsecured! Hey, Lisa Page – why not blame the idiot you were having sex with for leaving his phone out, for anyone to see? Did the word “blackmail” ever cross your minds during your affair? How dare you now go to the American taxpayer, demanding money because you screwed up (literally) and are now being mocked by the president?

The answer is no. You deserve not a dime of taxpayer money for this. You feel hurt and harassed? Why is that the taxpayer’s problem? Trump is mean to you? As I told you last time, get in line. There’s no special award for being the target of a Trump tweet. Your moral failure, your lack of appropriate ethics in the workplace, and the fallout that followed – none of that is the taxpayer’s problem. That’s all you, Lisa Page. And you have the unmitigated gall to demand money for being shamed. Hell, NO.

Money for sex. There’s a word for that but at the moment it escapes me.

She’s mad because she didn’t get alimony when they split. And, like any prog, it’s OUR fault.

    More seriously…

There are specific documents you sign when obtaining a gov’t-issued communications device that explicitly tell you things like:

You are accessing a U.S. Government (USG) Information System (IS) that is provided for USG-authorized use only. By using this IS (which includes any device attached to this IS), you consent to the following conditions:
The USG routinely intercepts and monitors communications on this IS for purposes including, but not limited to, penetration testing, COMSEC monitoring, network operations and defense, personnel misconduct (PM), law enforcement (LE), and counterintelligence (CI) investigations.
At any time, the USG may inspect and seize data stored on this IS.
Communications using, or data stored on, this IS are not private, are subject to routine monitoring, interception, and search, and may be disclosed or used for any USG authorized purpose.
This IS includes security measures (e.g., authentication and access controls) to protect USG interests–not for your personal benefit or privacy.
Notwithstanding the above, using this IS does not constitute consent to PM, LE or CI investigative searching or monitoring of the content of privileged communications, or work product, related to personal representation or services by attorneys, psychotherapists, or clergy, and their assistants. Hard to believe that someone so stupid could make it through law school..not all that surprising (sadly) that she was a govt. employee…
Though it is amusing that by this lawsuit she’s admitting to one and all that she’s a whore (not to mention a traitor)..She’s just haggling over price at this point…

The lawsuit does not even have to be likely to succeed on its merits to serve a purpose…
Maybe this is just provides a very public and deniable method for higher-ups in the DOJ to pay her off through a settlement. This could just be her way of saying that things are getting kinda dicey and maybe it is time for her to get paid. She wouldn’t have to hide the money and she gets to claim vindication as a victim. Meanwhile, DOJ can claim they are saving the taxpayers money by avoiding costly litigation.
