Kamala Harris, intersectional and progressive as she may be, was clearly caught up in her own press and believed that she was qualified to be president.

Oh, how very, very wrong she was.

You see, the junior senator from California has been caught more than once, while in front of cameras, claiming one position and then flip-flopping. Who does she think she is, John Kerry?

First, the senator went all-out on Jussie Smollett, insisting he was nearly “lynched.” Then when his hoax fell apart, she was… well, the term “deer in headlights” comes to mind.

That was really the moment when everyone should have realized that Kamala Harris wasn’t ready for prime time, and that she suffered from two problems. One, she is a hypocrite (“do as I say, not as I do” especially in the #MeToo movement: “Believe all women, and no, I had no idea of what was happening in my office“), and two, she can’t think on her feet. Most polished politicians would be able to offer up some kind of graceful-sounding BS while they rapidly re-evaluate the siutation. Kamala Harris’s mind went blank. Imagine if any Republican had been so lost for words.

But because she is a woke progressive intersectional Democrat running for president, stuff like that gets swept under the rug. Until it happens again and again and again.

Votes for felons in prison? Kamala Harris was for it until she was against it!

Eliminating private health insurance? Kamala Harris was for it before she was against it!

Truancy crime laws? Kamala Harris was for it before she was against it!

Ouch. If woke, progressive, intersectional, Democrat Kamala Harris can’t put a dent in the support that Joe Biden – Joe Biden!!! – has in the black community, she is beyond done. California will continue to robotically re-elect her to the Senate, but she will never reach any higher than that. It turns out that following the John Kerry playbook works just as well in 2019 as it did in 2004.
