Justice for Kate Steinle: Family Filing Claims Against San Francisco and Feds

Kate Steinle’s July murder on a San Francisco pier by a undocumented illegal alien sparked a nationwide debate over the concept and practices of “sanctuary cities”.

Now, Steinle’s family filed a claim today in advance of a lawsuit over her death. Steinle’s brother sounded off, fighting back tears yesterday:

“The system failed our sister. “And at this point nobody has taken responsibility, accountability. And nothing has changed.” –Brad Steinle

The claims are against San Francisco Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.

Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, the 45-year-old illegal alien who fatally shot 32-year-old Kathryn Steinle and has reportedly used more than 30 aliases throughout his life of crime. Sanchez has quite the rap sheet-with three significant prison stays for felony illegal entry, inhaling toxic vapors, heroin possession and felony narcotics manufacturing to name a few. You can see read details here. He has been deported and entered the country illegally within days of his deportations. Upon serving a prison sentence (one of many) in Victorville, CA, Sanchez was turned over to the San Francisco sheriff’s department and was subsequently released on April 15. The sheriff’s department did not notify ICE prior to or upon the release despite a detainer request.

“There’s nobody that could look me in the eye and tell me that man had any right to be walking free in the city of San Francisco with the ability to shoot and murder my sister Kate,” Brad Steinle on “The Kelly File.”

Brad Steinle and his parents promoted Kate’s Law, a proposal that would send any person to jail for re-entering the U.S. after getting deported for committing a felony. First-time offenders would spend five years behind bars, and second-time offenders would get 10 years. Congress is working on legislation for “Kate’s Law” which would also end federal funding for so-called sanctuary cities that defy federal immigration actions.

The news in the Bay Area is not showing any bias at all in this case. This from the NBC Affiliate on Ross Mirkarimi’s Twitter:

This tragedy is not a tragedy used for political gain. This tragedy is simply that a woman who was minding her business and spending time with her father was innocently walking on a pier one night and shot by an individual who is not supposed to be here. This has nothing to do with opposing immigration but opposition of individuals who time and time again, like Sanchez, come into this country illegally and continue illegal behaviors while they are here only to get deported and come back and do it again. The sad and incomprehensible thing here, NBC Bay Area, is that the lenses are so muddled and the main stream media is turning the growing problem of illegal aliens in sanctuary cities into a political argument that those who oppose their viewpoints are prejudiced bigots who don’t believe in immigration. Sanchez is not an “undocumented immigrant”, let’s call him what he is. He is a criminal who is here illegally.

Just a few days ago Jorge Ramos of Univision called “Kate’s Law” unfair:

“I think it is unfair that because one undocumented immigrant killed a wonderful human being that all immigrants are being blamed for that killing,” he said. “It is so unfair…”

You know what was unfair? The death of Kate Steinle. By all means, if it makes others feel better, they can call it a “tragedy used for political gain.” Because we have to be “fair” and provide “undocumented immigrants” with sanctuary. And we have to call them “undocumented immigrants” and not “illegal aliens” because we may hurt someone’s feelings. And we need to have justice for criminals. Where is the justice and their fairness for the Steinle family? Where is their peace? Where is their sanctuary? Hopefully, one day they will find it.

Good-sue the hell out of the criminal regimes that allow this to go on. Maybe with enough lawsuits even the useless media that serves as the propaganda service for these regimes will have to stop ignoring this insanity and actually report on it.

I like this quote: “Incredibly sad and incomprehensible that this tragedy is used as a platform for political gain.” Sheriff Mirkarimi”

Gee, but it’s OK for the Charleston tragedy to be used in this manner though, eh sheriff? Once again The Destroyers fall back on their usual position of “do as I say, not as I do”. These “people” turn my stomach with their naked hypocrisy and their incredible stupidity.

The other amusing aspect of this is that Shefiff Mirkarimi advocated for prisoners getting college credits and his election campaign sign reads “For a safer San Francisco”! Safer San Francisco, huh? Maybe if you’re an illegal….

This guy sounds like a real winner. No doubt the BCLM crowd will exempt him from their war on the police as he is as stupid as they are.

Trump’s ad: Split screen with pix of Katie & Jorge Ramos saying that the proposed law isn’t fair, followed by short video of Trump kicking Ramos out of the presser, followed by Trump saying “Isn’t it time you have a President who cares about your lives and represents you?”

I think it’s time for “sanctuary cities/counties” no longer get any federal funding! This whole thing is bull$#I+! Americans should be safe in American cities/towns. They should not have to fear being shot by someone who is here illegally & has a long criminal record! It bad enough with the criminals that are here legally!!

As for Kate’s law, I’m in 100% favor of it!! I think it should be mandated that every city/town that is a “sanctuary” for illegals should have to inform any & all who visit their city/town. It should hit them right in the pocketbook! If tourists know that if an illegal can basically get away with murder, because he/she is an illegal they may make the choice to go elsewhere or stay home! I for one will do my damnedest to NEVER VISIT A SANCTUARY TOWN/CITY! They clearly don’t give a damn about the citizenry!

God bless Kate’s family as they heal. I think these lawsuits are a good thing for them! Yes, it’ll be rough to relive what happened. But this way they’ll hopefully be able to see her murder will not go unnoticed & maybe, just maybe, it’ll save someone else’s daughter/sister!!
